The hotel is very well located, near the Torgnon ski slopes. All the personell, management and staff, were  always willing to help and give their advice. They truly made the difference.
The restaurant is also recommended and, at least for the busiest days, you should reserve a table. Also, taste the red wine, which comes from their own produce in the region - it is really good.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, staff went out if there way to make sure our trip and stay was fantastic, helped us find the local area amenities, cannot wait until we stay here again next year for our ski trip. Very hospitable people. Helped us with the local language as were a group of 3 English people who spoke no Itallian. Food in the hotel was also very delicious. Breakfast was great especially the jam tart!

We had stopped in for a late night drink and loved the feel of the place, slightly old fashioned but in a good way, with comfy bars and lounges. I particularly liked the selection of herbal teas, with many sourced and prepared locally. 
So we had to go back for dinner, and that feel of the place was maintained with four generations of the family serious about service and good food. 
An asparagus tartlet was the very essence of the vegetable with light pastry and dressing. 
A piece of sea bream cooked In a case of salt and prepared at the table in a nicely dramatic style, tortellini in a delicate lemony sauce, deserts to die for, including a peach baked in a chocolate cream, semi freddo with meringue. As we have found a lot the advice on wine was spot on ( no surprise given the quality in this region) and again no push for an expensive bottle. 
Teas and digestives in the outside terrace and yet again a friendly chat with one of the family who run this special place.  
To stay is our next ambition, it is a perfect base for walking, skiing, and being pampered in a warm and comfortable environment. 

A family run hotel serving seriously good food with warmth

We stayed here for a long weekend skiing in March 2015. The hotel is well located being about a 20-25 minute drive to the Valtournenche cable car linking up to Cervinia and within easy walking distance of Torgnon's own slopes.

The staff were really friendly and a couple spoke good english. The room was large, warm and well equipped with lcd tv, hair dryer etc. The bed was large and comfy, Breakfast was good quality and plentiful continental style food. The only slight negative was the curtains which were very thin and see through but that wasn't a major issue to us and we would definitely return.

We would also thoroughly recommend the restaurant. This served excellent quality local dishes often using locally sourced produce all at reasonable prices. We ate the set 4 course dinner twice which was €22 and really enjoyed every dish we were served. The wine list is extensive, as big as some Michelin starred restaurants we have eaten at! If you are into your wines you will find some treats here, with many of the more exclusive Italian denominations priced at a similar level to what you would pay retail in England.

Lovely hotel

I would highly recommend this hotel and we will be returning there. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. They could not do enough to make our stay as good as it could be.
Only down side, bathroom a little small, but great views over the mountains from our main room. Also location ,it is 20 minutes to the main ski resort of Cervina, so a drive each day, but other than that, fantastic.
