My wife and I are traveling throughout Italy and lucked into this nice hotel across the street from a great seaside restaurant.  Very clean and spacious.  Perfect for people watching as they set up a little marketplace at night and a boardwalk atmosphere with some kids rides and vendors.  The staff is friendly.  A true taste of Italy, with mostly Italian vacationers.  Big bathroom and comfy bed

Beautiful hotel by the sea

We travelled in a small group in September .
The hotel is situated right across the seaside promenade of Trebisacce. The rooms are well kept,the beds are comfortable,  the bathrooms clean and modern, the food is excellent, they offer free bottles of water and a small but varied breakfast buffet. They have various types of restaurant locations, some are opera style with lush theater-style chairs, one is on the last(5th )floor, rather sterile but with a great view .There is also a rooftop swimming pool.
The staff are very welcoming and helpful, the hotel is open all-year round for events and seminars

Ideal location for exploring the Ionian Coast

We travelled as a family with a small group hosted by a local. It was the  ideal way to visit Calabria . Visitors have to remember that Calabria is not tourist oriented . Businesses are family run and very low key. No gift shops! The season only runs from June to August. The hotel opened one floor for our group. Wifi was good most of the time. Large rooms with ocean views and large bathrooms. In fact it looks way better than in the photos. The service was like being hosted by a friendly family. Only one front desk lady speaks English . Breakfast was ok with fresh mozzarella cheese , fresh orange juice, all the cappuccinos you want , cold meats, and a new freshly baked cake every day :).  We stayed 10 days with day trips around Calabria every day. They did not charge extra for water bottles or for phone calls. Very refreshing :)

On the Ionian Sea

Travelling between Puglia and Tropea in Calabria we stopped here for a night.  Location is great, right at the sea.  Room is sparse but that was okay we were here for,the area.  But air conditioner did not work well, made noises all night.  Skip,breakfast it is not worth it.  With no reservations I think the 100 euros we paid for three people in room was too expensive.

Great location

I tried to find this place about 8 in the evening. I followed google maps and sought the advice of locals. Problem was that this hotel did not have any lights on. At the locals' insistence I did go to the door and it opened. A hard working young man, who seemed to be the one person working in the place, checked me in. Maybe this place is better in "the season" but it was not worth the 60 euro I was charged me for a cold, dimly lit room without wi-fi. The toilet ran all night, despite many attempts to jiggle it. All credit to the young desk clerk, however, who also attended the breakfast room - he tried his best. Maybe they just shouldn't open off season.
