There were two positive aspects of the hotel Zodiaco in Monte Bondone: kind staff and a good location. The rooms need reparation - it was not possible to close te balcony doors, the doorthe chair was half broken, the shower door as well, there was a mold on the wall of  the bathroom... The food was a real disappointment- for the first time in my life when eating in Italy. The only exception was pasta, that was good. No fruit for breakfast, vegetables in limited quantity- cut lettuce, tomato and cucumber  without dressing.  NO fruit tea for kids, some days without juice for breakfast.  Tasteless soups,  cold fried potatoes, pommes frites that disapeared after 10 minutes and were not supllemented. Really very small portions of meat, half raw fried fish, chicken of bad quality and without taste. It was evident that the cook did not like to cook and the owner smof the hotel saving  money on the costs of  clients.

Hotel Zodiaco was a disappointment

Hotel zodiaco in Vanéze. The place where I spent my wonderful holidays with my husband in 2024! It was the first winter stay in such a charming Italian town. A winding, steep mountain road leads to the town and the hotel, which is a great adventure from the very beginning. As you approach Vaneze and the hotel you feel like you are in a fairy tale land. The hotel is decorated with Christmas lights and allows you to immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas. You will be welcomed by friendly staff. Thanks to tasty meals and hospitality, you will discover Italian cuisine and more. A cozy hotel room will allow you to sleep well and rest after an active day spent in the fresh, clean mountain air. Hotel zodiako, located right next to the slope, invites skiers to the hotel bar for something to drink or a snack. There are many ski slopes nearby and the wonderful Monte Bondone snow park. Returning to the hotel, you can relax in the sauna, use the swimming pool or other forms of relaxation. Children will also feel great here thanks to the children's corner with many attractions. This is a place we would like to return to and I have already recommended it to many friends. See you at the zodiako vaneze hotel!

Winter time in sunshine

Finally, after 4 months of our return home, I can write a review about this wonderful hotel. I start by saying that I am not the type who is easily satisfied, I always find something to suggest or advice to give... this time I found nothing that went wrong, all wonderful. Great in every way: cozy, pleasant, convenient to reach the slopes and above all clean. We were on a family vacation with children and grandchildren and we used all the services of the hotel. Right in front of the building, the bus stop that connects Vason with its super-organized slopes and various shelters and shops.

It's a lovely holiday!

My daughters love the mini club and this year with LF they had a lot of fun! Congratulations to Lara and Desire! The hotel staff are super available and very welcoming! See you next year!

It's a family vacation!

A welcoming atmosphere and staff always available, strategic location directly on the slopes, for those who already know how to ski, cleanliness and wellness centre very well maintained, excellent cuisine, abundant, genuine and varied, the unlimited drinks included make this structure reach a very optimal level.

Quality ratio excellent price

We stayed in this hotel from January 21 to 28, a hotel in excellent position for those who know how to ski there is a lifting facility a few meters away and for those who do not know how to ski there is a free ski bus to get to Vason and Viote in 5 minutes, to improve bus schedules but especially for those like us who have enjoyed the full pension, available and kind hospitality, we really appreciated the wellness centre after a day of skiing there is everything, really good food and plenty congratulations to the whole kitchen, very kind room staff especially I wanted to thank Raffaella and Martina for the availability and in particular, thanks also to the encouragement Desiree' and Lara have managed to involve adults and children, which we hope to say we will find again next year.

Super white week.

Very satisfactory accommodation. All the characteristics of the building correspond to what is advertised. Clean and well maintained environment. Gentle, available and welcoming staff. Perfect location for skiers with lifting facilities almost next to the hotel. For skiers the possibility of using the skybus. Good restoration and varies in the proposals. For those staying with children the baby-mini club service is of satisfactory duration with cute entertainers and involved in various activities with children of different ages.

Good experience.

We stayed two nights in this hotel and it was a mini-vacation for ten years! We went with our one-year-old daughter, and we found all the comforts we needed for her too, including the mini-club that has always had a respectful eye being the smallest! The room is spacious and clean. The staff is not to say wonderful! Gentle, available and attentive to every need. A special thanks to Federica and Claudio from the reception for all the attention they paid to us (we will also follow you on the next trips!), and Martina from the dining room. With them every stay becomes relaxing because they solve every need with professionalism, seriousness and love for their work. Congratulations!

Mini vacation from ten and praise!

Apartments Orizzonte are under the hotel Zodiaco 80 m from the lift to the Monte Bondone ski centrum. Perfekt place for the family with smaller children. Wellness centrum in the appartements was perfect after skiing. Nice personal in the hotel. Good connection to Trento via skibus. 

My family of 5 have a great stay in Hotel Zodiaco. We were split into 2 rooms, 2 in 1 room and 3 in one room. One room had an excellent view of Trento and the mountains ranges surrounding. The other view was a decent view of the slopes. While the rooms are not exactly modern, they are sufficient for a good night's sleep and very very clean. The only down side was that one room had a shower that didn't have much power. 

While the rooms do have some issues, I must say that the service is excellent and one of the best we've ever had. We stayed in Hotel Zodiaco over the Christmas period to ski and there were so many activities planned for us guests, especially little children. They have a dedicated group of girls that are event planners and they take charge of Christmas games, song items and even dance. If you are not local and want to see how Italians celebrate Christmas, this is the perfect place! Moreover Monte Bondone is not very touristy so many of their locals are very friendly (they aren't put off by tourists). The staff were very nice to us and provided us with good ski information and even information about the area. They were very well versed in their content and spoke decent English. 

Did I mention that the stay came with both breakfast and dinner? It was so worth it! The meals were fantastic! Breakfast is a very generous spread of eggs, bacon and Italian pastries that are a great way to start the day. Dinner was either a salad and sides and dessert buffet with 2 courses or a 5-6 course meal with a buffet dessert. The food is amazing. Kudos to the chef!

Skiing at Monte Bondone is good for families. They had a good selection of slopes that are wide. The ski resort is not too crowded too so it was a very good ski run. While there was no snowfall during the december period, they do generate snow so the slopes are at tip top standard. 

Overall, apart from the tired looking rooms, the rest of the stay and ski was perfect. I highly recommend this place for families especially in the Christmas period. To the staff at Hotel Zodiaco, thank you!
