Over the years, Laila and her family built, unfolded an incredible place to feel immediately home, safe, free and at the same time lovingly taken care of. The enchanting naturally kept garden welcomes with flowers, Puglia’s olive and fruit trees and hidden treasures to be spottet. May it be its various spaces to rest, to retreat in the sun or shadows and the stillness of nature. May it be surprising meetings with chickens and roosters, deeply relaxed land turtles or spying water turtles curiously poking their heads out of the water of the artistically designed pond accompanied by dancing dragonflies and birdsong… All interior and exterior architectural spaces are created with dedication, sensitivity for aesthetics, coziness and are well thought-out. Besides the beautiful interior style, the rooms offer everything you need including a little fridge. All areas and rooms of Borgo del Gallo are very clean and well taken care of. The bathroom is spacious and the bed is incredible comfortable - rarely to be found in Italy as most of mattresses are normally rather hard. So many gifts to receive, but there is one surprise every day you are looking forward to again and again, every morning curious anew - and that’s Laila’s wonderful “love food poetry”, how we called it. Laila is a food artist creating a breakfast you will never forget. Many hours a day she does magic in her kitchen, preparing, cooking and baking the sweet and salty composition of her healthy and sustainable well-thought daily breakfast with vegetables and fruits of the region and the family’s garden without any repetition during your stay. An abundance of delicious food that will conquer your senses and your heart. And its richness will cover your lunch, if you choose the offered lovely paper bags as your take-away option.
