The restaurant is very welcoming outside and the owners are very cocculi as they say in Trieste. Parmigiana is very good and the slices are noteworthy. It is worth taking two digestive steps to see their animals.

Eaten

We were celebrating a birthday in this farmhouse and so we booked. When we arrived at the scheduled time we sat down where we had decided and waited for a waiter to order........after half an hour a woman arrives and finally collects the requests. For the food........all quiet! An hour later we are shown the dishes available and order.

Bad and approximate

We were the first May x the first time beautifully placed in the middle of the forest especially d summer tables and huge benches with giant umbrellas when it's hot

Good morning, we went over the Easter weekend, the gentleman at the reception was very kind and we found ourselves well.

It's welcoming.

Great first dishes also from the Trieste cuisine, bread noodles with Goulash No. 1, informal atmosphere on the Trieste carousel, good glass of wine prices in the norm, bad for sweets, even if good not homemade.

Great cooking.

A natural and uncontaminated environment surrounds it for moments of relaxation and tranquility. The service is simple and cordial and for dinner tasty and simple but well prepared dishes are offered.

A location immersed in nature

Although it is quite difficult to find, at the end of an unpaved road without many signs, it is a good destination for enjoying the green in the open air in summer. During the rest of the year it is still OK, if you are looking for a family-oriented environment, with a simple menu at reasonable prices. The specialties are those ones of the Trieste surroundings, i.e., simple items with very genuine ingredients.

The rooms were clean, very simple, with a shower, in a youth hostel-like house. The breakfast was quite minimal compared to other houses offered by Agritourismo. At night there is no light outside on the premises, it is difficult to find the entrance. It is therefore also not possible to sit outside (though only on weekends).

Defects

The rooms were super-nice, spacious, lovingly renovated, with a large bathroom. Clean and friendly. Very quiet in the middle of the karst landscape, so you can walk straight from there. The owner and his wife and staff were very friendly. The breakfast is great: even baked cake, sausage, cheese, coffee, jam and fruit, along with cereal and cornflakes. We had nothing to put on it. There is a swimming pool. Disadvantages: it's hard to get to the hotel by car over a very rough area. The restaurant is closed in July and August, so you can drive home at night. It's not always on the road to eat, and I was actually planning to eat there.

Great location, friendly owners.

We happened upon this property whilst on our way to Croatia.  We arrived at dusk, without a booking, initial thoughts were that it wasn't very inviting mainly due to bumpy track you need to drive on to access the property.  Even though it was late in June there didn't appear to be any/many guests and the owner quickly found us a room.  It was spacious though spartan, bathroom was very big, though hot water was a major issue, the lack of it!   We ate at the restaurant, food was excellent we had a platter of cold cuts and cheese, bread, grilled meats and salad.  There were no choices it was that or nothing, but we were more than happy to have whatever was available after a long day on the road.  Unfortunately we shared the restaurant with a group of about 20 people whose children were running around all over the place and making excessive amounts of noise - it really spoilt what would have otherwise been a great meal.  Breakfast was nothing special.  If I was in the area again I think I would stay elsewhere.
