We are so happy to have found Hotel il Caminetto!

Surrounded by the stunning Alpes, very nicely decorated in the typical Valle D’Aosta style, il Caminetto is a lovely hotel for passionate walkers or skiers who can reach the resorts with a shuttle departing only meters away.

Great value for money, lovely family atmosphere with the staff accommodating customer’s needs in a discrete and friendly manner.

The rooms are warm and the food is great. For families, couples or friends of any age, highly recommended!!

Italian Mountains vibe..at a great price!

We stayed here as a group of 7 for a skiing holiday. The hotel is fab, the staff are so friendly and can not do enough for you. One day the ski bus wasn’t working so they took all of us in their own cars. 
The breakfast and evening meal is fantastic  , so much food and variety. 
On one occasion my daughter left her phone on the ski bis , the owner straight away followed the bud in his own car with my husband and retrieved the phone down in the valley. 
Excellent hotel, thoroughly recommend it.

Excellent hotel and staff

We popped in here for dinner. 15 euro fixed price menu. Food was lovely. Wine reasonably priced and very nice. Friendly staff and atmosphere. We even got some advice for our ski tour. Would recommend! 

Dinner

We did not have the opportunity to sleep here but we had every meal. Team is extremely welcoming and friendly. A place to stop by for a good ski and local experience. Located in the center of the village, access and parking are easy. The bus stop right in front to take you to the pistes.

Super place

This hotel is owned and run by a very friendly Italian family who makes you feel like home. The hotel is cosy and relaxing and there is alway fire at the fire place and quests in the bar. The hotel is very, very affordable and we had expected a low end economy hotel. But that was not the case. Unlike other italian hotels a good breakfast is served with fresh bread, fruit, eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, cereals  etc. The dinner is four dishes of excellent homemade typical Italian food. The rooms are warm and beds are good. The hotel is situated about 1 km from the Salette cable car. But there are ski lockers at the cable-car where you can deposit skies and boots and there is a very nice and quiet trail along the flowing river which leads you from the hotel to the cable car/ski lockes. It takes 12 min to walk this trail. There is also a ski bus every 20 min to the cable car. We recommend this hotel to our best friends.

Very cosy hotel with excellent food and unmatched value for money!!

We stayed in hotel Al Caminetto, with a group of the Dutch Railways. The staff was super friendly and they serve a Great Breakfast. If you are looking for an affordable to ski Cervinia-Zermatt, and you are with a small group this is an excellent choice. I forgot my snowboard shoes in the ski locker. When I called them they send them to me without asking for compensation of the costs. Just really nice friendly People! Oh yeah, almost forgot, in the small lobby they Have a nice fireplace which they light when everybody returns from adres ski, that was also nice

Great stay and super friendly staff

Two night stop for skiing in Cervino Matterhorn area . Friendly welcome , esy access to lovely small town of Valtournenche. Half board with 4-5 course evening meal and super buffet breakfast . Room basic and smallish but perfectly adequate
