This self-catering appartment is marvelous.. walking distance to the beach and to the bike path of Costa dei trabocchi. Free parking. The most beutiful terrace with a view to die for. There is only a kitchenette but who wants to waste their time cooking gourmet meals? Grab some food on the Marina and eat on the terrasse wit te moon shining on the water. There is also an appartment on ground level with acces to the garden if you want a bigger kitchen or want a garden… The hosts are charming and speak English, French and Italian… They only book by email… luigimonteferrante@yahoo.com

We stayed here for a week in September and it was absolutely fantastic. We had the top floor private apartment which consists of 2 large double rooms, decent sized sized bathroom, a small kitchenette, a great indoor seating area (windowed on 3 sides and with glass doors leading to the terrace on the 4th) and then a really lovely large terrace looking over the beach and the Adriatic. All rooms had electric velux windows and the apartment had air conditioning which was essential for the very hot nights.

Luigi, owner of the property, could not have been more helpful  and kind which really helped make our holiday. He lives in the ground floor apartment and was always on hand to help with directions or to impart some useful local knowledge.

The beach (sandy with shallow waters) is a 3 minute walk away, the restaurants and bars of Vasto Marina a 5 minute walk and the old town is a 3 minute bus journey up the hill (€1.50 each way). All in all a cracking location.

I couldn't recommend the apartment more highly.

I had to vacate my apartment in Rome for a week and was looking for a place to get away to do some writing, reading, and relaxing.  Villa Monteferrante was the perfect choice.  The village is perfectly situated near both the historic village of Vasto on top of a nearby hill AND very near the lovely beach at Vasto.  My room was wonderfully appointed, immaculately clean, and the shared kitchen was fully equipped.  The hosts are very friendly and can answer any questions you might have in three or four languages!  I'd recommend the Villa Monteferrante for anyone wanting a relaxing and/or inspiring getaway on the beautiful Adriatic coast of Italy.

It is advertised as a Bed and Breakfast and you don't get breakfast
It is probably the only accommodation that doesn't have a television
Apart from this it is a very good location near Vasto Marina
The owners are very hospitable and friendly
It is very clean and modern

We were very impressed with Villa Monteferrante. Luigi and his wife could not have been kinder more helpful, welcoming hosts! Nothing seemed too much trouble. The villa was clean and well appointed in an excellent location for the beach and nearby restaurants just a short walk away. The beach in Vasto is absolutely perfect for small children- v clean and lovely shallow warm waters. If you are after a relaxing beach holiday with small children Villa Monteferrante is a great choice!

Excellent Place to stay if you are travelling with a family. Close to the beach, garden with a playground, lovely rooms and very helpful hosts. Private parking. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, especially when the moon is out...
