I needed a last minute booking in Venice and found nightstars. Basically, almost everything is really good. It’s comfortable, spacious, extremely clean and pleasant. I would definitely recommend it. I really wished I could give it a well deserved 4.5 stars. 4 stars is not enough, and not completely fair to them, but 5 stars wouldn’t be fair to others. The reason I don’t give it 5 stars because on its b**king listing, there’s no mention of how to check in, no email arrives. If you book a few days in advance, this, obviously is no problem at all. If you have ambitious plans, it is annoying. I don’t expect the impossible or the superhuman, but there’s no reason they can’t inform people making a last minute booking what their options are before booking or at the latest when they make the booking. But if you’re booking in advance, I would definitely recommend it.

In accordance with the Institutional Regulations and the rules governing the fee for access, with or without a shuttle service, in Venice and the small islands of the Venetian Lagoon, an additional fee is charged to day-trippers who do not stay overnight and plan to visit the historic city centre from Friday to Sunday or on public holidays, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The fee will be from EUR 5.00 to 10.00 per day, depending on the date of booking. After payment, tourists must have a confirmation. Exempt from this fee are children under 14; residents of Venice and the Veneto region; people working or studying in Venice. Guests staying overnight are also exempt from this fee and must pay the city tax at the accommodation facilities.

A cleaning tax is not included in the reservation price and is payable separately at the hotel.

Mandatory gala dinner fees may apply at Italy hotels. Guests should contact the hotel directly for more information.
