NH hotel was in the middle of everything we wanted to be at. We took the family with us for the 2026 European vacation. My wife and I have been to Venice a few times and knew what we enjoyed doing and not have to pay the premium for the stay. NH was perfect, near the train station for the Italia rail, near the water bus stop, near the grand canal, and close enough to the St Mark square. The building is old by American standard; however, the rooms are clean, updated, and have that Venician feel. It makes you feel that you are in Venice going back many centuries with the modern comforts. The staff were so nice, and welcoming. the breakfast was to die for by European standards. There were seven of us, and for those that are planning to go back will definitely book with NH hotel for our stay.

Additional information

In accordance with the Institutional Regulations and the rules governing the fee for access, with or without a shuttle service, in Venice and the small islands of the Venetian Lagoon, an additional fee is charged to day-trippers who do not stay overnight and plan to visit the historic city centre from Friday to Sunday or on public holidays, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The fee will be from EUR 5.00 to 10.00 per day, depending on the date of booking. After payment, tourists must have a confirmation. Exempt from this fee are children under 14; residents of Venice and the Veneto region; people working or studying in Venice. Guests staying overnight are also exempt from this fee and must pay the city tax at the accommodation facilities.

A cleaning tax is not included in the reservation price and is payable separately at the hotel.
