I am confused as to why there are negatives reviews for this hotel. We had two rooms at the end of the corridor on the 8th floor and they were excellent; spacious, clean and well appointed. The bathroom was massive for a hotel with toilet/ bidet, the only negative was the shower is in the bath. The room was quiet but t.he beds were very hard, which is okay for one night. If you are coming into Mestre by train (we caught the fast train from Trieste after a cruise) you couldn't get a better location as the hotel is directly opposite the central railway station (take the McDonalds exit). We had a few dramas on arrival - our fault the booking was cancelled as we forgot the rooms were being held on a credit card that was pick-pocketed in Rome. But the staff were excellent is sorting out new rooms for us. There is a good quality restaurant attached to the hotel and is great for lunch (you'll probably need someone to explain the different types of breads and fillings because the English didn't make much sense). We didn't have dinner there as they don't do pizza, but there is a good quality pizza place 5 minutes down the road. The staff were happy to store our bags for a late flight. I would highly recommend this hotel, but perhaps ask to see the room first?
