Christian really is the most congenial host. He has a wealth of knowledge that he is more than happy to share. Ask him anything about your visit and he will give you the info or find out. 
The rooms are large and spacious. Some shared bathrooms but this isn’t a bad thing. I was at first sceptical about a shared bathroom but found no issues at all. 
There was always a fresh pot of coffee available and use of communal kitchen and fridge. 
The beds are so comfortable, we slept really well. 
Everyone who stays here chats and gathers for conversation, from all over. 
Great and easily accessible transport links to both Venice itself and the airport. 
This was our 2nd visit here and it will not be our last!

B&B Casa d’Oro
Our family of 5, stayed here and enjoyed the experience. It was quiet, safe, clean and had the best host ever. His name is Christian. He is friendly, honest, sincere and helpful guiding you on the things to do while in Venice, and would do anything to help enrich your travel experience. The place had all the essentials needed for your comfortable stay at an inexpensive rate. Clean, good a/c, hot water, WiFi, coffee and a big smile from the host. 

On our first leg of our trip, we stayed on the main island of Venice (+250 € a night) and it was a nightmare with all the suitcases; going up +120 stairs crossing the many bridges on the main island of Venice with no lift, escalator or ramp to get to the “vaporettos” or water bus. (Remember, there are no vehicles, buses or trains on the main island of Venice, only water bus or water taxis). It took us over +40 mins to get to our hotel, on foot. 

On our second leg of the trip, we stayed at this adorable place in Favaro and it was easy getting back and forth to the main island of Venice, in less than 20 mins. You have the option of tram or bus, and both are extremely reliable and inexpensive. 
Casa d’Oro is in a residencial neighborhood that is not crowed like the main island of Venice, and is strategically located, 1 min walk from main tram and buses to and from main island of Venice (less than 20 mins). Close to airport, but can not hear the airplane noises. 
Highly recommended for your stay, while enjoying the whole Venice adventure away from the hustle of main island of Venice.

Great Value near Venice

Awesome!!!  We couldn’t recommend Christian and the Casa d'Oro Rooms more highly!

The apartment property is lovely, situated in a quiet area.  We rented four rooms (3 large doubles and a family room which comfortably sleeps four).  All the rooms were scrupulously clean, spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds and air conditioning. The bathrooms were spotless as was the kitchen / breakfast area.  Oh, and the coffee was great too!

In addition to a great stay, for a very small additional fee, Christian collected all 10 of us (plus luggage) from Marco Polo airport at 11pm at night.  The next morning he helped us to get to the Port of Venice by taking all of our bags (which filled his large estate car :-) and one of our party while the others took the bus.  It’s a really easy journey - simply buy a €1.50 ticket and catch bus no. 19 which runs every 20 mins.  The bus stop is a few minutes walk from the hotel.)

In summary, super clean, comfortable apartments run by genuine, friendly people who go out of their way to help - All at a great price!  Very highly recommended.

Excellent B&B run by fantastic people!

Don’t  stay on the island of Venice during your stay. You will be paying double, clogged with tourists and struggling to get to and from your hotel. This gem is located  just a 15. -  20 minute bus ride or a 1/2 tram ride to the entrance of Venice. Gabriel and Christian make a perfect team.Their place is CLEAN, SAFE, and COMFORTABLE! Yes you share the bath, but they keep it clean. Their is the best PIZZA place 10 minutes from their pleace, eat lunch and dinner there. Can’t wait for our next visit. Freedom and Lleela (Canadians)

An affordable and perfect location to stay when visiting VENICE

Мы путешествовали с семьёй и двумя собаками, и это было единственное место, где хозяин Кристиан без проблем разрешил остановиться с животными, естественно с оговорками о том как вести себя с ними, но тем не менее очень лояльно подошёл к вопросу. Потрясающее место, с лёгким, но плотным завтраком, йогурты, печеньки, свежий кофе. Кристиан все четко рассказывает и показывает, как добраться до города, купить билеты если вы приехали поздно, можно у него, никаких надбавок, все по - честному. Попали в интересную ситуацию, улетел случайно с паспортом жены, пришлось пересылать его на имя Кристиана, невероятно выручил, человек которому можно доверять. Советуем место, удобно добираться как из аэропорта, так и до города. 11баллов из 10! 
We have travelled with a family and 2 dogs, and that was only the one place where the housekeeper and owner - Christian, allowed to stay us with the animals,for sure with some small advices how to behave with them, nevertheless, he was really loyal.
Amazing place, with light but fulfilled breakfast, yogurts, cookies and fresh coffee! Christian briefly and clearly describes, how to get to the city, and important thing, if you were late with arrival, he could sell you the tickets, no additional fees, with the same price as you will buy them in the ticket office. We were in the interesting situation, in which Christian also helped us a lot, I've ocassionaly took the passport of my wife to home, while she with the parents continue to travel around the Italy, and I used a Christian's house as a destination point for DHL mail for the passport sending, he received it and on the way back gave to my wife. He is helpful, honest and you can trust him in every question which you can have! Highly recommended to visit, easily to reach both from airport and central station of Venice! 11 points from 10!
