Avani Rio Novo Venice Hotel 

We really loved our stay at the Avani Rio Novo hotel in Venice for a week. First of all the location was amazing, right in the center of Venice , within walking distance to all important historical landmarks , next to the canals, lovely narrow streets and scenic bridges and with many restaurants, bars and cafes in the surrounding area. The hotel is modern , clean and the rooms very pleasant , quiet and comfortable. Everyday our room was being cleaned and towels replaced which was nice. The air conditioning worked really well keeping the room cool as the weather was particularly hot in the end of July. We really enjoyed the happy hour evenings organized three days in a row with complimentary food and a bar with drinks , beautiful music and a lovely atmosphere. The staff was friendly , helpful , very polite and professional. We would definitely return to this hotel and would like to recommend it if you’re planning a vacation in Venice or even for a business or other type of trip if you’d like to be in a fantastic location, it is great hotel for a reasonable price.
