We had lunch with friends on a very busy day in Corniglia. Despite the frenzy of the tourists, the waiter welcomed us with kindness and professionalism. We ordered firsts, spaghetti with vongole, patchers with capers, pesto cutlets and house cutlets. Each of us was satisfied with our choice, each dish turned out to be rich and tasty. Congratulations to the kitchen and the waiter. Honest prices. We will definitely be back!!

Lunch in a crowded Cornish

My girlfriend and I were here in August 2022. Super friendly waiters. We ordered a liter of house wine (very good), and a plate of seafood spaghetti for two. I have never seen (and I repeat NEVER) a quality/quantity/price ratio like this.

Destroying dinner

We had a restaurant in the centre of Corniglia, courteous waiters, fast service, very good fish snack and then we had a seafood risotto for 2 (it was definitely too much for 4 pax).

Dinner for two

We have dinner in this restaurant on board taking two firsts. Honestly excellent quality in the two dishes, kind waitresses (until the time of the bill), quick timing. Bad coffee at a cost of 2.50 euros! Cover 3 euros! Basically between water (two bottles), coffee and cover we paid as half of the food eaten, honestly it's absurd. Once paid the waiter suddenly changes his mood, obviously he expected a tip. Which both of us noticed when we left the restaurant. Absolutely not a nice gesture!

What a price!

I'm sure we travel a lot, but I've never met a maid that owns so much coffee. We asked for oil to put on the bread. She gave us two bags, smashed on the table.

Dinner

If I had seen the reviews I would never have gone there and I'm talking about the restaurant because it turned out to be worse than what they've already written. You can't charge a dish that's been sent back (because it doesn't meet the expectations proposed) and then be attacked and badly threatened with slurs from the bourgeois in the public square.

Badly restored

This commentary relates to the restaurant (Trattoria La Lanterna) and not to the hotel (which is however part of the same house) We were very well received on a very nice terrace and with more than attentive service. Special mention of the antipasti della casa and especially the fish tartar that was to fall! Very good meal with fresh produce and plenty of portions! Congratulations!!

It's a very nice surprise that this restaurant is.

I hope for them in the future changes. I have lost sight of the flaws of the accommodation...the locking of the room, the missing handle and here I should already stop. You are welcome by the management of the owners, it is the waiter of the restaurant who takes care of everything. They should only do catering. The kitchen, instead, is the strong point of the inn, no doubt. The waiter who welcomed us is certainly one of the most positive notes that we remember.

Not just the dining room.

I stayed for 6 days with my girlfriend in this facility and we were fine. The room was very simple but at the same time it had everything you need to stay at your best.Surely one of its strengths is the location, in fact, a few steps away both from the center of the village and from the staircase that leads to the sea, and in our opinion it is a great starting point to turn the five lands.The only negative side were the smell of humidity (even if the facility tried to withstand it with a dehumidifier) and a power outlet not working but promptly signaled by the owner at the time of check-in

I would like to start by saying that the negative reviews are in my opinion really cruel and written without knowing the cause. The room has everything essential, it is clean and is in the very center of Corniglia; it also enjoys a pleasant sea view! It is therefore perfect as a point of support to tour all the locations. Not being a 5-star hotel it clearly does not have all the comforts but for the price paid I really do not know what to expect... courteous, honest and available (we have left luggage until 15 hours) If we have to repeat in the area we will definitely return! Thank you very much!
