After a three year hiatus, we returned to B and B San Rocco for a delightful evening. We stayed in a different room from our previous visit, but it was equally clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The host's son greeted us, served us a very complete breakfast, and was very helpful as we made arrangements to get to our next destination. He recommended a restaurant next door (Il boccone perfetto) and made our reservation. This B and B is conveniently situated near the. center of this beautiful, sophisticated, and manageable city. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Return trip to B and B San Rocco

We spent 2 nights in July 2022 at B&B Vicenza San Rocco, and we really enjoyed our stay there. Our host was really welcoming and helpful, he gave us a short overview of nice places to visit and advised us for restaurants, etc.
The house is really charming and arranged with a genuine style. Its back is oriented toward the gardens of the city block, from where a peaceful and quiet atmosphere emerges. It was really hot outside when we were there, but the house remained cool, and air conditioning was there in case of need.
The breakfast was really copious with a lot of choice, fruits, etc. But mostly we had it on the terrace over the house's garden.
We would warmly recommend this place and thank our host for his hospitality.

Charming Bed and Breakfast

This is a lovely place to stay in Vicenza. Close to the center of town, very clean, and the owners are warm and welcoming. We stayed in the lower room with a small balcony (for two chairs). The upstairs room is a bit bigger, with a full terrace. If you care about outdoor space, try and book the upper room. Both are wonderful, though, and a perfect place to stay in romantic Vicenza. 

Great little BnB

B&B San Rocco is a gem. We had a very comfortable third floor room with a balcony and an all-new bathroom. Spotlessly clean, nicely air-conditioned (given the oppressive heat at the team).The balcony looked over the tops of residences and businesses, an interesting birds-eye view of life in a sophisticated town in the Veneto. The host was extremely gracious, very knowledgable about all things Vicentine, and supplied us with a bottle of Prosecco as a welcoming gesture. Breakfast was elegantly served with anything you could imagine wanting. I can't say enough things about this location and the people who run it.

Extremely gracious, comfortable B&B centrally located in the beautiful city of Vicenza

What a great find. We had a triple room upstairs overlooking the neighbours backyards, it was great, like being home. B&B is in a good location, a short 10 minute walk from the train station and all attractions are within a 15 minute walk. The room had a balcony with a pleasant view. Room clean, bed comfortable, bathroom was nice and also very clean, with good water flow. The host (Carlo) was great, a nice classy gentleman, who had a lot of pride in his establishment. The breakfast was great, served by Carlo, with plenty to eat and drink. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if back in Vicenza.

Great host and great B&B

My wife and I stayed 2 nights with Carlo at B&B Vicenza San Rocco. Both mornings, he had a beautiful breakfast spread, especially the jam-filled croissants! He and his family are some of the warmest people,and they are all so knowledgeable about things to do and the history in Vicenza. You not only get the locals' perspective on this beautiful city, but also a true welcoming into the Vincentin culture. I would highly recommend this as the place to stay while in Vicenza.

Best B&B host in Vicenza

San Rocco
The ideal B&B, delightful hosts, he runs marathons, she an organist of importance in the area musical circles, delightful house, charming room, enormous and full breakfast,   Vicenza is a lovely town, many Palladian houses to see and visit in the maestros home-town.  The location is brilliant, walking distance  for several main attractions, also to the station. In summary, perfect 2 night stay, with hindsight, should have booked another day.

Great location, wonderful hosts

I loved Carlo and his beautiful wife who were so kind, and maintained a calm oasis of a home, with beautiful greenery, wonderful clean, pretty room and bathroom, with a cute patio outside my room, and one huge patio at the back of their kitchen to serve breakfast.

There are three rooms, so you receive very generous service at breakfast, and Carlo also boiled eggs on request. There were juices, coffees, teas, many flavours yogurts, buttery croissants, cheeses, etc.

What is more amazing,he gave a me a ride to the villas as I had a train to catch that day. He gave instructions to walk back, and I made it.  I even made a friend on way back while asking directions again as my phone was not working properly.

Carlo was a great host, and waited for me to retrieve my bag before leaving for his tasks.

Carlo will explain how close and easy i sit from his home to walk to the center of gorgeous Vicenza, a hidden treasure in my opinion.  Walk in the center, and towards the villas.

I will go back to stay with carlo as you need more time for Palladio's beautiful buildings.

Wonderful host, and beautiful home in great, safe, convenient area

Loved every minute we stayed in B& B, just off the busy streets, with lovely views of green garden and breakfast terrace where delicious breakfast had been served by Carlos, included fresh melon and strong Italian coffee. Clean and very cozy. Tips of Carlos about dinner place and villas to visit were excellent. Reliable wi-fi. Value for money - no doubt. We really recommend this place.
