Staying at this hotel was one of the best experiences we had while traveling around Southern Italy! The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and quiet. Just a short walk from the beach, and surrounded by olive trees. The breakfast spread was impressive and delicious. The guests all seemed very friendly and sociable during breakfast and evenings on the patio. 
The family who owns and runs the hotel was incredibly warm and welcoming! They gave us thoughtful restaurant and beach recommendations each day. In the evenings, we sat outside on the patio and talked about our favorites dishes to make at home. It was the best experience I've ever had connecting with locals in Europe and a fun opportunity to practice my Italian. Such a wonderful family and hotel!

Unforgettable hotel and family!

We fell in love with this charming, family run hotel the minute we stepped through the door. We were warmly greeted by Rosa who took us to our spotlessly clean room just to make sure it would fit our needs. Our room had floor to ceiling windows, black out shutters that adjusted to allow for air flow, air-conditioning, private balconies with views of the olive groves and the hill side spotted with sheep wearing bells, private bath and comfortable beds. The perfect refuge from our daily adventures of exploring the town, sunning on the beach and trekking through the national park. Rosa and her daughters were eager to share thoughtful food recommendations and places to visit. My favorite memory of our stay was the connections we made with this host family. I will miss the long chats during breakfast and late in the evening food discussions in the garden. Rosa's attention to detail and the well being of her guests made our stay a delight!

Hotel Maggiore Italy

Hotel Maggiore is the essence of a hidden gem. Tucked away just off the main road to Vieste, it is nestled amongst the olive trees, providing a scenic and peaceful setting to rest after spending one's day at the beach or small towns, which are within walking distance. The hotel offers everything one could need and is spotlessly clean! We were especially impressed by the abundant breakfast options, which included excellent coffee options and pastries, as well as fresh fruit, yogurt and muesli. Above all, it was the wonderfully warm and welcoming staff that made our experience one that I will not soon forget. For non-Italian speakers, it may not be as easy to connect with the lovely family that runs Hotel Maggiore - and to this I say that it is worthwhile studying Italian if only to speak with them! The staff, especially Rosa, immediately made me feel at home.  She takes such good care of the hotel and her guests! It was a pleasure to get to know her and I hope that we meet again!
