167 reviewsFor me, from the rainy and flat Netherlands, this is what i think paradise might look like. Everything in the pictures is real and true. I read that the property was once a textile factory. It has been expertly rebuilt into a multilevel array of apartments of several sizes, each with its own terrace section for you to lounge on. Beautiful bougainvilleas, hydrangeas, fragrant plants and lemon trees adorn the whole premises, which are kept in meticulous order by Pietro. There is even a small chapel near the entrance and its magnificent staircase. Francesca manages the reception. You will receive a warm welcome, these are the kindest of people, and you will receive tips on sights to see, ways to travel and places to eat. The apartment has everything you need and everything works. The terrace will offer views on the valley of the Bonea river and on the Mediterranean sea, only a few hundred metres away. Vietri is famous for its ceramics and is close to Salerno, from which it can reached by car, bus, train and the highly recommended fas ferry service of TraVelMar. Vietri is an excellent base for traveling to all other Amalfi coast villages, whereas by itself is very peaceful and tranquil and away from the touristic chaos typical for the other villages. It was the best holiday stay i ever had and i will return next year. Grazie mille, Francesco e Pietro!
