BB Rosaria Amalfi Coast

B&B Rosaria is the accommodation that everyone dreams, when they decide to visit the Amalfi Coast. It is also an ideal point for exploring the Roman, Greek, medieval and natural monuments of this part of Italy. We were a larger group, 8 members of our family in total, and we spent 11 nights here. Me, my wife and children were in a separate apartment house in the middle of a beautiful Mediterranean garden with a view of Salerno and the Amalfi Gulf. My father-in-law, mother-in-law and my brothers-in-law were accommodated in apartments in a historic town house, which is divided into several apartments and the back part of which is also occupied by Rosária and her family. The heart of the accommodation is the very kind, always willing Mrs. Rosária, the head and manager is her son Andrea, always ready to help and advise. Since it is a B&B, the price also includes a buffet breakfast. Just a few meters from the accommodation there are also small groceries and a great restaurant, where we spent three beautiful evenings full of gourmet experiences. Each apartment is equipped, mostly with a terrace with a view, a kitchenette, sometimes a bathroom with a whirlpool bath. Cleanliness and daily cleaning are a matter of course. We also had a separate whirlpool in the garden, in addition, there was also a summer kitchen in case of bad weather. However, we spent late evenings in the garden with garden furniture. The view of the bay and Salerno was magical. The accommodation is located in the once independent village of Dragonea, which is now a part of the city of Vietri Sul Mare. This is one of the highest and quietest parts of Vietri, located on the border of several mountain parks. Of course, as Andrea will confirm, local buses also go here. However, we always rent a car for our holidays, so in our case it was an excellent accommodation. You can get everywhere on the Amalfi Coast from here. Never go towards Amalfi on weekends. Always take a trip to Naples - Pompeii, Herculaneum, or Paestum, etc. An alternative is a full-day boat trip, which will always allow you to explore all the beauties of places like Amalfi (Paticeria Pansa), Maiori, Minori (Sal de Riso), Cetara (colatura di alici), etc. In the immediate vicinity of Dragonea is the historic town of Cava di Tirreni (approx. 3km), and on the other side is Salerno (approx. 10km). During our stay, my father-in-law had health problems with his spine, Andrea and Rosaria immediately helped us, gave us advice, showed us the pharmacy and were ready to call their doctor. Thanks to their help, my father-in-law was back on his feet in 3 days and we could enjoy the beauties of the Amalfi Coast together again. In addition, since we returned the rented cars in Salerno the day before our flight, Andrea picked us up at the rental office and the next day they drove us with his father to the airport in two cars. So in conclusion, B&B Rosaria is one of the best accommodations we could have wished for, built just for us. It is clean, quiet and beautiful. Whatever we needed, Rosaria and Andrea were ready to fulfill and help us. I definitely recommend it and wish all the best to the entire family of signora Rosaria.
