Very friendly people. Nice, clean room with a double bed and 3 single beds. More than enough for me, my wife and our son. Good breakfast in the morning.

Unfortunally there is not much to do in the village. They advised us a restaurant in another village. When we went there we found out it was closed on the day of the week we were there. So we went back and had a take-away pizza. The local bar was fine for a drink.

Conclusion: Fine for a nights stay, not recommended if you want to stay longer due to the fact that there is not much to do in the village.

Perfect B&B for a night stay on your trip

We stopped over at Caslett 2 times on the way to southern Italy and on the way back,10 days later. We had a very nice and warm welcome, the hosts are great, the communication before the arrival was very nice, the rooms are very spacious, good and big comfortable beds. We had a very nice breakfast very early in the morning, they woke up so early to prepare it for us. It is a very good place to stay if you pass by Como or if you want to visit it, it is higher up then Como, has good and fresh air and is cheaper than actually staying in Como. The ice cream in the center of Villa Guardia, where all locals go, was one of the best I had in Italy.

Very nice place and hosts

On our way from Puglia  to Holland my husband our dog and I have spent one night at the B&B Caslett. The owners were very friendly, warm and helpful. They gave us good advise where to eat and to go since we only had a couple of hours that evening. For us it was perfect because it is close enough to the highway and very close to Como.

Pleasant B & B

We chose this B&B as a good stop-over on our way to Tuscany. Warm welcome - we spoke in French, our strongest foreign language. Good sized room and en-suite. Hand-painted and stencilled, and with a high ceiling. The strangest thing was that there were no curtains to draw. There were lace curtains at the windows, but no  heavier curtains, so we had to be careful where we got dressed or undressed if the light was on. As we stayed in September, it got dark early so we needed the light at night. 
We were able to come and go at will, and we had dinner at a local pizzeria which was not just cheap but which actually served really thin, crispy-based light pizzas.
As I never sleep well for the first few days of a holiday, it would be unfair to complain about sleep quality. I would say that there was no reason why I should not have slept well, and my husband did have a good night. 
Breakfast was typically continental. Price for the room and breakfast was extremely reasonable.
Satnav had some problems finding B&B Caslett and getting back to the autostrada in the morning, probably due to a road closure very near to the house.
