Although this hotel has many of the short - comings noted in other reviews - really this is an ideal place to stop over if travelling in late into Comiso Airport, or gathering yourself for leaving Sicily after business or pleasure. The attached well being centre - although priced separately from the Booking Com offers, is well worth the extra 20 Euros for a delightful internal pool, emotional shower (always makes me at least smile!!') pebble stimulants for tired feet, super Roman style steam room and spacious and very clean Sauna. There are also good surfaced tennis courts to enjoy and an outdoor pool - though I didn't use that preferring to absorb the calm and refreshment of the well being centre. The dining room is very clean, and although the service was well below what one would expect from a 4 star in the UK is really pretty much on a par for the rest of Sicily which generally has not had the customer service element as high on the training agenda as needed - something for their trade associations/ Tourist boards to consider addressing. The menu is fine and the food I ordered - a pasta and a delicious Sicilian lemon based dessert was lovely. I felt beautifully restored and relaxed to take the quich connection (provided by the hotel) to the airport a mere 5 minutes drive down the road - so no worries there. Definitely the place to use when travelling in and out of Comiso - (Ryan Air mainly) to access the Ragussa Region.
