This is our second visit . Petra and her mum Erika provide an warm welcome and excellent service .  Rooms are cosy and cleaned daily.  Good selection at breakfast.  Nice bar area .  Ski storage facilities. Great location for ski and summer activities. Petra is local and can help with any questions you have . 5 mins walk to main town .  Good access to local hiking trails and bus routes to explore other valleys. We would definitely stay again . Thank you

Highly recommend

It’s different to review this idiosyncratic hotel as when I visited the owner was running the place more or less on her own and it was end of season. There is only so much time any one person has and the number of tasks that can be performed. Let’s be charitable and cross our finger to hope full staffing will make improvements.  The one thing unlikely to change, is the owner’s love of cats. The animals get everywhere and their smell follows and it’s for that reason I’d be reluctant to return. 

Could do better

Just returned from a week at Ciasa Roch, as part of a Colletts Ski Holiday. The place has it all, nice rooms, good location, good storage for skis etc but it's all let down by the attitude of the two women running the place. One example: We were told the bar would be open until 10.00pm but when we returned at 9.00pm and wanted to chat to friends they were reluctant to open the bar and grandma complained that we made too much noise so she couldn't hear the tv. Unbelievable!! We paid a lot of money to stay at a place where we didn't feel welcome. Very disappointing and we won't be staying again.
They are also obsessed about guests not wearing boots in the house, which is fine, but we were harassed about it constantly. Lighten up guys!!

Unhospitable :(

Nice location, reasonably comfortable, small cash only bar. 
Let down by the two women that run the place. Sadly they seem to have become very jaded, or were just having a bad time, but we saw frequent instances of them being rude to guests, with people being told off (in a not very respectful way at all) for wearing shoes, trying to take a coffee to their rooms. Colettes staff appeared to be aware of this, and said they had had lots of clients complaining in previous weeks. I am rarely moved to write a review like this, but one instance of Petra being incredibly rude to guests for no good reason has moved me to write this. I would not recommend staying here.

Let down by poor staff

We stayed early August for 10 days bed and breakfast. We will be happy to visit again we were made very welcome. Breakfast was very good and what you would expect in this area. The owners were friendly and helpful. The room was large with a balcony. The place is very clean and comfortable

Corvara walking holiday

Stayed here for a week March 2019. We probably would not return here.   
Good points: 
Rooms very clean
Plenty of hot water
Ski boot room plenty of space
Reasonable priced drinks at the bar

Not so good:
Mattresses too soft (but realise that is personal preference)
General attitude of staff not so hospitable in our opinion
No variety in breakfast offering - exactly the same every day.

Just OK

It‘s the best place to stay, Family owner B&B, great breakfast buffet. Great location to enter the skiing places, either by foot 10 min, or by bus. We love the place since 9 years we are always coming back. The rooms are well styled. Private atmosphere. Short walks to the best restaurants in Covara. Skiing and eating is a must for us. 

Skiing Vacation 

We stayed for a week whist skiing.

First, let me say that the whole house is lovely, spotlessly clean and immaculately clean.

Our room was at the top of the building, so a three floor hike on the stairs and had no balcony. That said, it was large, had a good en-suite and was comfortable in every respect.

The breakfast room/bar is typical Tyrolean in style and a good place to spend time with other guests.

Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice - meats, cheeses, eggs, selection of bread and rolls, croissants, cake, jams, etc.

The internet is not good - slow and flaky.

Do take time to get to know Patra, the landlady; she is a very interesting person.

I highly recommend staying at Ciasa Roch.

Welcoming & Comfortable

This B&B is very handy for Corvara.
The room and breakfast area were spotless and the room had a balcony with views of the local mountain, Sassonger.
Breakfasts were delicious, with a great selection of fruit (including sometimes black and red currants from their own garden), although the coffee was not the best.
The owners could not have been nicer and were helpful about giving suggestions about hikes.

Clean, good location and friendly staff

I don’t want to write a bad review about this place because it is very nicely presented and very clean and comfortable. However the breakfast coffee was the worst I have ever tasted in Italy. The internet is very slow, it seems to be a domestic class router which is overwhelmed by the guests trying to use it.
