Made a late booking at this hotel and the cost was very reasonable. 
I chose this hotel based on location to the railway so I could travel all along the coast for walking and cycling. 
The owners reception was very friendly and helpful giving advice on travel. 
The room was clean and spacious with a sea and station view. 
The breakfast was good with plenty of options and although I was a little early up I was accommodated by staff to help me get my early train. 
I would loved to have stayed longer and plan to return with my family.

Perfect for train travellers

Very nice and simple hotel with extremely welcoming staff. Free parking included but its just in fro t of the train station which is perfect if you don't want to waste hours looking for parking in the surrounding cities. Definitely will come back

You get more what you pay

We spent our holiday in hotel Zoagli and can't wait to return next year! Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A lovely, continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Train station opposite which we used each day to travel into Rapallo. 
Highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel 

very good hotel for exploring the region. we very much liked the service attitude of the owners, they are friendly and care about the guests. the train station in front of the hotel is very good to explore the region without car.

pleasant stay

Zoagli was a great find by my friend and this hotel very convenient. We stayed 3 nights. The brother and sister pair that run it were very friendly. Adequate size rooms, we had a ceiling fan, fabulous pressure in the shower. Basic breakfast but enough to start the day.  Not many tourists here, it felt like most visitors were Italian. Excellent Campari Spritz at a good price on the sun deck.

One for locals

We stayed here for two nights, on our trip to Cinque terre and Portofino.

Eventhough we arrived by car, we didn’t use it at all, cuz the train station was just across the road.

The staff is really helpful and the rooms were clean and with nice view.

Breakfast was good.

2 nights stay in Zoagli

We stayed in this hotel few days in June because a friend married in town.
The hotel is run by a friendly family, the members of which were always ready to assist us with a smile. Our room was clean and in order, even though very minimal: just a bed, a table and a wardrobe without shelves. 

We were provided only with a small piece of soap and two single use shower gel during our stay. Therefore, take with you toothpaste/brush and any other product you may need.

Breakfast is just alright. Bread, eggs, croissants, some cheese and ham, jam and butter are available. Only soluble coffee is available, you have to pay extra for espresso or capuccino.

The hotel has an unique reserved parking spot but it faces the train station where some free parking are available. You need to be lucky though, since they cannot reserve it for you.

If you are planning to visit the rest of the riviera by train, you may wait in your room until the speakers announce the arrival of the train, since the station is just 20 meters away.

The extreme vicinity to the train station has its downsides: trains are quite numerous and noisy. If you are a light sleeper you may have problems. 

We didn't have A/C in our room or a TV. A TV is available in the common area for the guests to share. 

Internet is available in the common areas. We had a room at the first floor and got a fairly good signal.

Good hotel, but mind the trains!

This hotel provided our accomodation whilst attending a wedding in the town of Zoagli. This hotel is a very good and basic place to stay if visiting or passing through the region. The room was airy, clean and fully funtional. Interestingly, there was no tv but this didn't matter too much. The hotel is run by a very pleasant couple who were always pleasant and attentive to our needs and requests. The breakfast is quite simple but wholly sufficient to get you started for the day. The hotel's vicinity to the local train station is perfect for journeying around the region. However, be warned! the noise of trains passing is quite noticable from the hotel itself.
I would definitely return here if I stay in the region again.!

Comfortable, friendly and convenient

Family run hotel, Hotel Zoagli is very clean and unclattered yet retains a familiar, welcoming atmosphere that make you feel as if you were at home. The warmth and friendly environment go alongside a professional and efficient management from brother and sister, Oreste and Angela, who have continued the family tradition. Wherever else we go it is always Hotel Zoagli we want to return to!
