I have rented a One Bedroom Apartment on more than 1 occasion from Yard Style and I can absolutely easily give it a 5 star rating.  Lorna is hands down, one of the most genuine, kind, compassionate people that I have ever met and trust me, she will go above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and are not without anything.  There are several GORGEOUS units on the property, which is gated, not to make you feel like you are in prison, however, you are on a very busy street and it is comforting to know that your secure.  There is transportation right outside the gate and there are several shopping vicinities within walking distance.  The apartment that I had included a kitchen, microwave, fridge, there is a sitting area inside and outside, full bathroom, flat screen tv and bed.  You absolutely can not beat it for the price.  And knowing that I am in good hands is the most important.  There is also free WiFi and laundry facilities if you need it.  I am booked already to return in September.  Yard Style is my home away from home.

Based in a suburban area but gated for safety it was a good basic location for a short stay in Kingston.

The staff were very friendly.

Good value for money (cash only) if you just want a very basic place to stay overnight.

Yard Style is in a residential area of Kingston. We had a self catering 1 bed apartment which was clean and spacious although limited in utensils if one did want to cook (there was a Burger King close by). The bedroom was air conditioned and secure parking is available. Lorna the host is most welcoming. Wifi was good once we got it working

Great cheap place to stay, friendly host

A nightmare host,Would not recommend this host to any other guest.Any booking apps should banned those people from ever using their Plat form.thete is no free airport shuttle or free taxi ride to their location as they mentioned.upon the checking in I found the room I booked for it was not the same picture that I saw it on the booking dot com.kitchen was not including nor the air condition when I asked them about this error the husband and his wife took me to another one that has the kitchen and the A/C and charged me  750 U.S dollars cash!for two weeks only.and they told me to cancel my reservation on the booking DOT com.I had no choice but to deal with this fraud.it was late at night and I had long flight .after that I found out many  people offering me their entire appartment for 500 US Dollars a MONTH!!. If you look for privacy ,,that is not your place to stay .the bed ,sheets,pillow was not clean and had a bad odor .the pillow was too old and very thin to sleep on .the bed was not comfy it was stiff I was not feel comfortable to sleep on .when I asked the couple if they can re wash the sheets and the pillows they got aggressive and attitude,the husband told me that's how we wash it and we do not have washing machines we do them on hands!!one day before my checking out the water pump in side the toilet was too old and rusty all the sudden it broke when I try to flush the toilet when I ask the husband to fix it he said to me to replace it with new one would cost you (my self) 150 US dollars,I told  him that it doesn't cost that much this is sounds not right and I do not have that amount because I spent all my money here in Jamaica ,the husband started casting at me and call me nasty word and accusing  me spending my money on liquor and hookers instead of saving it he also was caring holding a machiti while he was yelling at me in front of his wife at that moment I wanted to contact the police but it was my last day and I have an early flight .my tips to any one who wants to come to Jamaica do not let those people listings fooling you,do the search there are tremendous places here in Jamaica are alot  way cheap then what those people charging and learn from my lessons.
