The entire property needs to be renovated! My husband and I stayed here, simply because it was central to everything. Big mistake! There was a huge infestation of ants. Ants crawling on the bed all over my pillows. Of course I started freaking out. My husband tried his very best to calm me down telling me I can make it through the night. Well I didn't. I went to the front desk asked for my room to be changed. Room was changed and we experienced the same issue. It was too late to go to another hotel. We ended up staying the night. The bathroom needs an entire facelift. Faucets are rusted so badly!!! Water pressure is extremely low...  The next morning we were gone. We booked else where, where we were both happier!

Ants, Ants, Ants and more Ants!

I stayed at Pure Garden one night ago and I enjoyed my stay as usual. The receptionists was very friendly and customer service oriented, Rooms were clean, Security guard was very welcoming and professional, The chef was very nice. The food was delicious, I enjoyed my curry crab with rice and Peas. Best curry crab I ever had. Pure Garden is the most reasonable all inclusive resort in Negril , Book Pure Garden and you cannot go wrong.

If you're not seeking the traditional all-inclusive hotel experience..Pure Garden Resort is PERFECT! The location is fantastic, who wouldn't want to directly across from the 7-mile beach and the hotel pool area is clean and the hotel grounds are very well maintained. There is a little grocery shop located beside the hotel so you don't have to go far to grab snacks and a larger grocery store is located 5 minutes away!! 

My stay here was made even more enjoyable by the extremely friendly staff! I reserved a room with a kitchen which had all the luxuries of home. Utensils I inquired after to prepare meals were immediately provided and delivered with a warm smile. When I didn't feel like cooking, I enjoyed the delicious food served at restaurants/bars along the main road!! 

My room was clean, very well maintained and serviced when requested. The air conditioner and fan worked perfectly. Arlene primarily looked after my needs during my stay and she and the other ladies were absolutely amazing and very accommodating!

The staff are very honest and conduct themselves with a high degree of integrity! I left a piece of jewelry in my room when I checked out, boarded my flight to return home  and did not realize it until I unpacked my suitcase the next morning.  I immediately called the hotel to inquire after it and was informed it was turned into the front desk and would be held there until I am able to make arrangements to have it returned to me.

I am looking forward to my next stay at Pure Garden!!

Will definitely be going back!!!

One of the most inexpensive places to stay near beach . Safe , clean and friendly . Certainly not a 5 star resort but a good bargain for price . It’s right across beach area and it is easy to access sidewalk 

Beach fun 

My mom, 4 year old, and I really enjoyed our stay at Pure Garden. The room is very, very basic- nothing on the walls and no extras- BUT hopefully you're spending time out of your room. :) The A/C worked great and maintenance responded very quickly to the one minor issue we had with it. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area is clean and fun. Right when we checked in, we had friendly service and a business card for the hotel's taxi service which was extremely appreciated and well-priced for anywhere you want to go. Great food options to walk to are Beach Bunny Cafe, Cafe Goa, and Kuyaba.

Great family stay!

I am a retired lady travelling alone  Absolutely NO problems and great service.  I needed a fridge for insulin got it in less than an hour.  Vincent the manager was great.  Could not have asked for more.  Gardens very well kept natural and beautiful.  House keeping washed some clothes for me and ironed all I requested.  Please them.  They are great

I’ve been staying at the Bungalo, now pure gardens,   since 1987. It is clean and safe.  Which is more than 95% of the properties can say. It’s location is perfect and they don’t lose reservations   This is the only place for me

My 32nd year in Negril

It's true that low season in Jamaica means that you find really low quality service and buildings in need of maintenance. Pure garden is not different. Price was low so expectations weren't too high either, but for a weekend out it couldn't be too bad.
Resort need some serious maintenance. Pool was filthy, couldn't be used, and parts needed repair. 
Restaurant on site for breakfast was not operating, and noone told us anything about it.
Room was clean enough but we had only 2 towels for 3 ppl... Asked for more, got only a big towel, no hand or face towel.
Reception not very informative. Asked about the "private beach", got sent to a beach that doesn't belong to the resort so you have to pay extra. 

Position is good though, right on the 7 miles beach and close to restaurants and a duty free shopping area. Good enough for 1 night, wouldn't stay any longer.

Low budget, low expectations

This was my second time staying at Pure Garden. The first time I stayed in January 2018 and it was absolutely amazing, however this time was below average in regards to the actual room. I checked in and was greeted by the AMAZING front desk staff who showed me to my room. I get settled in and sat on the bed because I had a long day of travel. I noticed I was not alone on my bed. There were ants crawling all over both beds in the room, and up and down the walls behind the beds. I went to the front desk and simply asked for bug spray and the kind lady came and sprayed for me and then left the can with me in case there were more that I saw. The spray helped a little and I believed I was going to be able to make it through the night. However,  the same night the toilet started making a crazy noise as if it were breaking, the shower was barely functioning, and the water was cold. The final straw was waking up to ants  swarming in the kitchen. I went to the front desk the next day and asked if my room could be changed and it was immediately changed. The next room had ants as well but not as bad as the first room so it was manageable, but again severe water pressure issues in this room to the point we ended up just taking the whole shower head off and let the water run out the pipe, and still cold to lukewarm water. I did not have one hot shower there my entire visit. I really do not want to give up on this hotel because I had NONE of these issues the first time I was there. All of the staff from the front desk to the housekeepers are beautiful people inside and out. But these rooms need attention :(

Disappointed

I am writing this late as we stayed last year but we are a family of 4, one of the children being only 1years old at the time of travel and we had a lovely holiday. Ive been to jamaica three times and know you get what you pay for and I definitely think this place is good for what you pay and I would happily stay here again.

We had a kitchenette and the cooker wasn't working but when we highlighted this we had a brand new one by the next day. Rooms were clean, bathroom clean I cant complain at all about the cleanliness, and the grounds of the hotel are gorgeous and well kept. Good air conditioning meaning you can keep the sheet over you by night to prevent being bitten by mozzies. I really can't complain about the room yes it's basic but its really clean that's all we wanted.

Staff here were very friendly and accommodating and seemed to be this way towards everyone staying at the hotel. 

Ive also noticed some people complaining about loud music, but it's Jamaica you have to expect some. My one year old still slept fine and it didnt bother any of us as it wasn't too loud and didn't go on too late. If you don't want to hear any music you'd be better off paying for one of those large all inclusive hotels that are out of the way and offer very little culture otherwise I don't think you will escape it!
