The hotel is around 25 minutes walking from the center of the city. It is located in the middle of a cliff so it has a great view of the city and the sea.

The most amazing thing is the new onsen they opened in the new part of the hotel (15th floor) where you can feel you are inside the sea while you relax in the water.

The dinner (which in general is included on the room) is very good and has a live a show which I enjoyed very much.

The staff is very friendly and really helpful! Thank you very much for my birthday wishes and present.

Beautiful spa hotel with breathtaking views of the bay, beautiful! Japanese futon bed installed by staff during your dinner. The real Japanese room well equipped with rudimentary comfort. Japanese bathrooms (total nudity) with transparent mineral water with outdoor swimming pools. Kimono dining with impeccable service. The dream! Generous breakfast, very varied choices and well presented in a big decorated room with a surprising hyper kitch. Go get a taste of escape!

Total expenditure

Scenic location but nothing much to do within walking distance of hotel. Rooms are good, clean and spacious. Had to take 2 elevators though to go to the royal wing where our room was. Good breakfast and courteous staff. Perfect for ONSEN.

Nice hotel with it's own character

A beautiful area and Hotel to visit. We stayed for three days and two nights, the hotel was awesome, great service, hot springs bath with infinity pool. Very delicious dinner, and breakfast. The hotel also provides transportation to town for site seeing. Great beach and park.

Paradise

Stayed one night in the ryukan in a tour.  Amazing experience like a real ryukan.  The room is big and during the yum traditional dinner they made the traditional bed. The view from the rooms are aging over the sea but I needed earplug for the crashing waves. The onsen is a must visit so relaxing and includes the shower toiletries and yukata . Breakfast was a little chaotic but good overall.  And finally the free shuttle to atami is great

Dated but superb ryukan and onsen experience

The hotel is a bit on the older side (e.g. carpet, paint, etc.). But the service and food are very good. The view of the bay is exceptional. The hot spring bath on the top floor is amazing. the view from the bath is great!

Nice place.. excellent hot spring bath

After entering the hotel reception you realize, that many things are different from usual hotels, the street entrance in on 17th floor... Our room floor was covered with tatami floor mat (no shoes, please) and for the night, the hotel staff prepared futon mattress beds on the floor. The big thing was the spa area (separately for men and women), with two large hot water pools for Japanese collective bathing. Very good experience, indeed.

A real Japanese Spa hotel experience

This hotel is located in a picturesque location, it has a legend that you will be happy to tell. But the hotel itself is very old and resembles a Soviet sanatorium with all the associations derived from it. But it has thermal springs, which is of course a big plus. In the rooms traditional Japanese decoration and sleeping you will probably be on the floor, in Japanese. The bar does not speak English at all and it works until 9.

The high-rise hotel, located on the rocks, all the rooms have an ocean view. From the station to the hotel it is better to get there by a special transfer bus, which runs every half an hour. With a pedestal - more than half an hour, and you can get lost. The rooms are made in the traditional Japanese style, typical for hotels - rickans. The staff is very friendly, dinner (we had a half-board) - tasty, but not the best option.

A hotel on the rocks with a beautiful view of the ocean

We stayed for one night. It's a 17-story hotel with stunning views of the sea and the rocks. The reception is on the 17th floor, the rooms below, the restaurant and the oforo (bathrooms with hot springs) are on the 2nd floor. Our room was medium size, with a beautiful view, clean enough, but not with a needle. Dinner is good, but loses in comparison to other streets. During dinner we entertained a concert of poppy on a variety of hits performed by three girls (photo, violin, violin)..
