A good place to stay if you are wanting somewhere close to the airport. The beds were comfortable and the owner was very nice and helpful. Free pick up from the airport can be arranged with the owner, which was handy.

Close to the airport

A great place to stay when arriving from the airport. The owner is amazingly friendly and helpful, cannot recommend him enough. A good amount locally to do in nearby narita which is very relaxed and traditionally japanese if you wish to stay for a couple of days. Shower is good, breakfast free, lockers avaliable and floorbed comfortable - only downside is the pillows are horrible!!!

Fantastic place

This hostel has two dormatories. The beds are futon beds (mattresses on the floor). They are upstairs. Downstairs there is a common room with kitchen and TV, and a bathroom with shower and bathtube.There are toilets in both floors. The host is helpful, and happy to tell you about Japan and answer all of your questions. He speaks English. There is a pick-up and delivery-service to the Narita International Airport. You must order the pick-up in advance. Or you can take the bus. The stop is 2 minutes from the hostel. The area surrounding the hostel is good for walking, or you can (for free) borrow a bicykle. If you want to experience Japan outside the big cities, this is a good place. The airport is closed at night, so it is quiet at night.

The place to rest after a long flight

When i changed my nice hotel to go to the hostel and spend the weekend I didn't know what to expect; I was hoping for a real Japanese experience; since I love their culture. Takashi, the owner and administrator picked me up at Narita's Airport for free; he was so nice and friendly and we immediatelly got along. I walked around the area while the carrots harvest was occuring; I will never forget the smell of fresh carrots while walking around; Shibayama is gorgeous and the female Budha temple was amazing; Takashi took me everywhere even to buy groceries and my experience was even more incredible thanks to his explanation. The place is clean, the tatames are comfortable, the house is cozy; for me it was better than my hotel experience.

He os also an trailrunner if you wanna know about trailrunning or hiking in Japan!

Perfect gateway to and from Japan

Almost unbelievable to find a place like this so close to a big airport. The top feature may be the free transport service from and to the airport (13 minutes). The futon beds are very good. The hostel offer you the use of a bicycle for free. A cycle trip to the Pacific Ocean shore might be a good idea after a long flight, to get your body and mind working well.
