Above expectation for a guesthouse. The shower is super clean. Hot water is running strongly and perfect. The room is clean and comfy. They provided clean cups, plates. Feel like in a classical Japanese home. Two thumbs up for a guesthouse. 

Location is perfect very close by the station and good food surrounding.

Best guesthouse

Cosy guesthouse near bus terminal. Clean and hygiene facility. Love the tatami flooring and futon beds. Will recommend to friends travelling to Mt Fuji with families! They also provide free breakfast and the buns were tasty!

Quad room

First things first, this guest house is situated just next to the Kawaguchiko Station🚂🚃 (bus and train - to and fro Shinjuku/Tokyo), which as a stone’s throw away. Yet, it doesn’t have the noise of the traffic (although it simmers down as the evening sun sets). The station provides the transportation services to all five lakes near Fujisan and in fact, Fujinokura is a walking distance away (500m+) from Lake Kawaguchi, which offers a great view of Fujisan and the nearby attractions.

More importantly, the service of the guest house is fantastic. We arrived late for the check-in but was warmly welcomed by the receptionist. Just outside the guest room, there are wash-rooms (bathrooms and toilets), mini-oven, microwave, water cooler and refrigerator to meet our needs. The house-keeper was also very considerate (saw her drying up the walk-way from the spills of water as well as tidying up the used utensils (yes - light cooking using the microwave is allowed). Oh, it also has a dining hall with good and economical dishes (800yen for a roasted pork rice - Oiishi). Btw, it also serves breakfast albeit with bread, coffee and simple soup (with table number labeled to your room, meaning you don’t have to queue or wait) only.

All in all, it’s value for money for those who seeks a good stay at Fujinokura to pay Fujisan a visit.🙏🏻

A visit to Fujisan🗻 staying at Fujinokura🏯

Very close to the station terminal with simple breakfast. This is a guesthouse room with traditional Japanese style tatami for 2 nights stay, meaning shared toilets. The kids very enjoy with the stay.

Great location

Very attentive help desk that brought us towels when they saw us drenched from rain during check in. Affordable, spacious and clean room. The shared toilets and bathrooms are kept clean. The restaurant also served very tasteful ramen.

Nippon Odyssey

One of the best loging Guesthouses in Kawaguchiko, just one minute by foot from train station. You will enjoy à little breakfast in the morning and in five minutes you will see beautiful lake and world famous Q Highland  parc attractions. Next time I will choose this guesthouse and I recommend it for everybody.

Super

I am happy I stayed here for 3 nights . Location is the best , and for our last day before heading to Tokyo, we can view Mount Fuji when we walk out from guesthouse .. 

Pros : Great location , reasonable price , clean , friendly hosts 

Cons : This is a guesthouse and need to shared bathroom and toilet . Do not expect TV in the room , and it’s traditional japan style tatami .

I really love Guesthouse Fujinokura, Kawaguchiko,Japan, i like this guesthouse because so clean and cozy and you know this place so near from kawaguchiko station only walk for 2 mnts. And the staff so nice and handsome..🤭

Traveling in Japan

We had a lovely welcome at Fujinokura and the hosts were happy to check us in early. The rooms are amazing and the breakfast was also nice.thank you so much for our stay. Hope to be back sometime soon.

Amazing authentic Fuji guesthouse

We booked last minute and this was the cheapest convenient option. Room was clean, not big but reasonable. There’s microwave, fridge and some utensils for free usage. They even provide free simple breakfast on request.

Staff who welcomed us was friendly and detailed in their instructions.

The only inconvenience is that you need to make your bed. A friendly suggestion is to book directly with this place to have a slightly better price than via other engines.
