Fujikawaguchiko

A small guest house headed by a friendly owner who will come for you at the railway station and bring you home, a little bit far of the center of the city.
For 70 euros you will have a comfortable room with 2 prepared futons, a small balcony and a wonderful view on the Fuji.
Shower and restroom are shared among 3-4 rooms and a typical Japanese breakfast is included. A + is free bikes for the customers and a - is the kitschy deco of the room.
A nice opportunity in this place, and an owner who will advise you warmly on what to do in the region.

A room with a view on the Fuji !

It's a lovely house, a little bit off the city center, but great if you want to rest. The owner is super kind, he picked us up from the station when we arrived and took us there when we left. He even made us a traditional japanese breakfast, which was a nice surprise. Free bikes for sightseeing. Our room had two balconies with view to Mt. Fuji, but it was cloudy and we could only see it for a little while early in the morning, wish we could have stayed longer!!! If I ever go back, would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely place, excellent service

This is my first time to Kawaguchigo. I’m so happy to stay here. I could see the Fuji Mt. from my room. The owner is very kind and help me everything. He came to pick me up at the Kawaguchigo station and take me to see Fuji Mt view. I will come back again in Sakura season. 

So happy with this guesthouse 

The owner was so helpful. He explain everything to me very well and spots to go, to eat, take pictures and all. Breakfast was not included but he cooked all the guests something. The room was good size with a view of Mt Fuji. You can just sit in the room have tea and enjoy the view. Sleeping is by way of laid out mattress on the floor that was actually very comfortable with thick comforter. The heater works well and it was a good sleep.
The bathroom was a bit small with nowhere to put your stuff. Perhaps a shelf higher up would help. The location is a bit far from town but bicycles are free for guests to use and that makes it easy to get around.

Enjoyable comfortable stay

This place is absolutely amazing! Truly japanese style room with super comfy japanese futons and a private balcony overlooking Mt. Fuji.
The owner is very kind and helpful, picking you up at your arrival and providing information about the area and events, always with a smile. He also provides homemade japanese breakfast, different each day and super delicious!
There are free bikes to use, perfect to explore the area and the lakes.
There are only two rooms so it feels like being at home.
I highly recommend this place! It was one of the higlights in our trip to Japan!

Best Japanese experience!

The owner couldn't be more helpful :) We loved every minute at his place. He brings different Japanese style breakfast every morning.There's bikes (free of cost). The hotel is far from the touristic hustle, which was a very good thing for us.
