This hotel feels more like an upscale condo than a hotel, not sure if it was converted to a hotel at some point, or was built this way. But it certainly feels different from other hotels I have stayed in Japan.

First of all, the rooms are very big, with a full living room, a dining table, a kitchen, a semi private bedroom, and a home-quality bathroom. I felt like I was living in my own condo instead of staying a hotel. It was a unique experience.

I know Japanese people care a lot about their bathing experience and it was nicely reflected in this hotel. The bathroom was equipped with a digital panel used to control water temperature and level in the bathtub. I only saw this in a Japanese home before but never in a hotel. They also had a water-proof tablet that allow you to watch TV while in bath. Again, something you can only see in Japanese homes but not in their hotels. If you read the booklet in the room, you would be see how the staff came up with this and other ideas to enrich the guest experience. No wonder this hotel is so highly rated.

Then there's the view. I think every room in this hotel faces Mt Hakodate and on higher floors, you can get an unobstructed view to the whole south side of the city. The room came with a balcony, so you can enjoy the city view leisurely at your doorstep. 

The only downside of this hotel is that it doesn't offer a luxurious breakfast buffet like some other hotels nearby do. But located just next to Hakodate Morning Market, you can easily get your breakfast there. It's also just a few minutes to Hakodate train station, so the location is really good. Overall I think this is a great hotel that made me enjoy my stay.

Wonderful condo-like experience

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room (502) was very spacious and comfortable, and had a light and spacious feel. The room had two single beds, a lovely living area including a TV, sofa, table and chairs. The reverse cycle Air Con worked well as did the humidifier. The WIFI worked well and the room had a security safe. Kitchenette looked good (we didn’t use it) and had a cooktop, micro oven, microwave, sink and fridge. Bathroom was great as was the separate bath/shower room.  It is also very close to the fish market, which is a great place to have a meal.

Nice hotel only 5 minutes’ walk from the JR station

We appreciated the apartment hotel in room facilities, allowing us the option of cooking. Location was right near the morning market and we enjoyed heading down for fresh raw seafood rice bowl for breakfast.

Perfect location

This hotel is walking distance to the JR train station, and right next the morning market. The room we got is a studio/one bedroom apartment type. There is a nice living room and balcony, and it makes you feel like home. 

Apartment hotel

Spacious rooms including kitchen facilities. walking distance from station. Very close to Wholesale Fish Market. Excellent staff and service. If you want to experience Jaoanese Fish markets this is the olace to go to.

Perfectly located - Excellent Views.

Totally satisfied with the stay as the room was spacious and come with everything. The balcony was huge though the view was nothing to shout for. Love the bathtub as it is spacious and clean with automatic features and they were thoughtful to provide sachets of POLA toiletries in the bathroom. Wifi appeared fast and reliable. Location around 5 mins walk from Hakodate JR Station and very near to Morning Market and 7-11 is just right in front. It is also walkable to Red Brick Warehouse area in around 15 mins. Would come back if we visit Hakodate again.

Room with everything you need

The hotel offers a Japanese-style breakfast that can be made in 5 restaurants in the area with a wide selection of menus or a Western-style breakfast that is served in a large trash can directly in the room but only after 8 a.m.

Comfortable, spacious and convenient

A very comfortable and spacious facility with friendly reception girls very nice and attentive. The lobby is furnished in a modern and colorful way and the room is a mini apartment furnished with taste and very well maintained. very clean. The spacious bathroom and washing in Japanese style, very fun, having a view of the meeting mind you.
