Lovely, cosy, well-appointed apartment in a great location for food shopping and buses to and from Nagano and all of the surrounding ski resorts. Super warm and comfortable for a family of four. Bob was a fantastic host (as he always is- it’s not our first time!) and helped us out with lifts, restaurant bookings and picking up ski equipment. We love staying here and will definitely be back!

Lovey cosy apartment with an amazing host.

We had a fantastic stay of one week at Hakuba Ski Condos. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5 (3 teenage children). Wonderful views of the mountains from the windows and roof top deck. Located in a very convenient location, close to the station, a supermarket and shuttle buses to the ski lifts. 
Decked out with everything you need - washer/dryer, full kitchen and plenty of room to hang snow clothes. As everyone else has stated, Bob is the most generous and kind host. He gave us many lifts and picked us up when we missed shuttle buses. He was a great source of information too, for places to eat and things to do. His wife gave us beautiful homemade cakes and souvenirs as we were leaving - so kind and not something we have experienced with anywhere else we have stayed! We will remember our stay here forever and will be hoping that someday we can return!

Best place to stay in Hakuba

Very good accommodation! You basically have the whole apartment to yourself! And you have a good view of the mountain too!

The owners are very good folks and they will offer to drive you around to places in Hakuba. Or you can use their electric bicycle to ride around the city as well!
They have public rooftop and pantry area that you can relax and chill!

The accommodation are very near to the JR train station !! Around 6-7 min walk.

Will book this accommodation again if I ever come to visit Hakuba !!

Exceed expectation!!

The accommodation is excellent: super comfy and warm- perfect for a family- and Bob, the owner, was just amazing. Whether it was offering lifts to different mountains, picking up ski equipment or booking restaurants, he literally couldn’t have been more helpful. We even received a homemade apple cake one day from his partner. As for location, there are restaurants nearby (a cosy one in the same building even) and a supermarket just round the corner, and best of all (for me) the buses to Goryu, Happo, Ilmori, 47 ski resorts leave from directly opposite the apartments. I can’t recommend Hakuba Ski Condos highly enough!

Perfect! 5 stars isn’t enough!

Not going to lie, I felt a little nervous when we first arrived. The place looked a little rough around the edges from the outside, but the nerves were quickly forgotten. The rooms were fine and they had everything we needed. The room had a great view of the mountain but as most of the other reviews have pointed out, it's the host Bob that makes this place. One morning he bought us up bread that his wife and freshly baked. another morning it was a waffle mixture and maker. Every day he took us out to the mountains and bought us back in the evening. He was such a wonderful person and we would definitely come back and stay with him.

Bob is the best.

Hakuba ski condos is a great place to stay if you have a family or friends and below are my reasons. 

Location: It is close to central Hakuba where all the grocery stores, chemists and restaurants are as well as 2 minute walk to the Bus stop to Nagano. 

Facilities: The Condos have all the facilities you need to cook your own meals if you don’t feel like eating out.  They have washing machines that dry your clothes.  The beds are very comfortable and cosy. 
The gas heaters are easy to use and warm the apartments very quickly.  
The view from the windows is spectacular looking at the surrounding snow covered mountains. 

Ski Fields: Centrally located to all the surrounding ski fields.  You could even walk to Happo-One if your keen. 

Host: The host Bob is what makes the stay that much more easy and enjoyable. His English is very good.  If you have a family he takes the stress out of getting you to and from the ski fields at a time arranged with him.  This alone saves you lots of money and stress from trying to navigate the bus system to and from the ski fields.

I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Hakuba.

We (5 adults) have just returned from a 2 week trip to Japan - spending 5 days of this in Hakuba. None of us had been to Japan before, so weren't sure what to expect. If you are planning to visit Hakuba, I cannot recommend this accomodation - and Bob, enough! The apartment was stayed in was so spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. Bob went out of his way to drop us off and pick us up from the local ski fields each day - which was super handy. His wife sent across homemade bread and jam, and ingredients to make our own waffles for breakfast. 
The location is fantastic, with the train station, shops, restaurants and bars all within a 5-10 min walk.

Stop looking, and stay here!

The location is really convenient as it is just a few minutes walk from the station. The highlight though was Bob. He happily took us to and from the ski resorts and provided us with many tips. Thanks Bob! We hope tp be back soon.

Great views of the mountain

The accommodation is perfect for a small group of friends - we had the three double bedrooms rooms set up with 2 doubles and 1 twin room. 

The location is perfect as it is close to the bus and train stations (Bob picked us up and dropped us off at both stations as well as dropping/collecting daily at the ski fields). 

There are a variety of restaurants nearby and a supermarket which makes the location ideal. You can also walk to both Ecoland and Happo from the condo in approx. 20 mins. 

The condo is clean, has great beds and boasts a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher. There is also a washer and dryer which was great for us having spent our time beforehand in a Tokyo Hotel. The condo is set up to be a great social space with dinning table and lounge area which was great for our group. You 

Would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again when we return to Hakuba. 

Special mention to Bob who made us so welcome. 

Fantastic stay...

This was our first trip to Japan and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The accommodation was terrific with 3 comfortable bedrooms in the apartment, well equipped kitchen and large living room.

The host, Bob, makes the stay even better. He picks you up from the train, delivers you to the ski fields every day and will even drop you to other parts of Hakuba in the evening.The additional touches of the home made bread and jam and the hot stew some days after skiing all add to the great experience.

I will definitely stay at the Hakuba Ski Condos again.
