What was bad
Terrible! This claims to be a ryokan, but it’s just a massively overpriced tourist trap.
All the decor is so tired: the bathroom, toilet, shower are vintage 1960s - even avocado green sanitary! The walls are scuffed and look like they were last decorated in the 1980s. The airco/heating is dated, and makes an awful noise.
The food is truly awful. To call it kaiseki is a massive insult to all the genuine kaiseki chefs who skilfully
