I was travelling with a group, so I didn't choose it myself.

The location is excellent. It is close to the Peace park, a big shopping mall/area and the stop for the streetcar/tram. The is a supermarket and a bakery close by. 

I stayed in the New Ikawa building. The building has both stairs and an elevator.

The rooms are nice and clean. We had a traditional room with futons. There are nog regular chairs or something, but there was a floortable and some cusions. They offered complementary shampoo, bodywash and conditioner. And you could borrow the provided nightshirts.

You can ask for the staff not to clean the room and they will leave out clean towels and such.

If have problems with getting up or sitting on the floor, this place is not for you.

The staff is nice.

There is small area where you can sit, but no additional place to eat as you can't use the dinning area or the microwave for your own food.

I recommend a stay at this ryokan!

Nice ryokan, close to the important places

Very small room for the three of us and a tiny bathroom. The building has been extended but this was the smallest space we'd slept in during our holiday in Japan. Couldn't unpack anything really. No meals offered, but we were happy to eat out anyway. Only local channels on the tiny TV. Found a lovely cafe for breakfast on the corner of the street 'Happy Morning' ? (closed on Tuesdays) - turn right as you come out of the entrance. 
Ryokan was convenient for the Peace Park and bus stops by the bridge, where you can pick up the hop on/off city tour buses.

Very basic

We booked one of their twin rooms and not the ryokan room. It was one of the most spacious rooms on our Japan trip.  Very clean and a nice private bathroom.  The couple that runs the place were awesome.  Very short easy walk to the Peace Park.  Convenient to transportation also.  They stored our bags for us while we toured.  We loved the couple that ran this place and found them to be very nice.  Would stay here again.

We had a great stay in traditional twin room!!

This quiet location near the Hiroshima Peace Park was fine. The hosts were pleasant and accommodating, rooms were sweet with lovely inset artwork. It was a short walk from the large park and the plentiful transit options. Breakfast was topnotch.

Lovely spot

This place is horrible. The hot water system  bubbled all night in my hotel room. Its close to peace park but apart from that, it has NOTHING going for it. It's not even a Ryukan. It's a multi storey dump.

Avoid.

It is well situated, near interest places. Typical japanese beds (tatami and futton), good and clean bathroom. But the staff a little rude, specially at breakfast time: you had to be there half an hour before 8.00 at last. If not they knock your door and shout "breakfast"!

A Ryokan.

This Ryokan is basic but was ok. The locatiin is good, close to Memorial Peace Park and we were able to walk all over the city from here. It is also close to tram stop. 
The rooms were clean but we found the bedding here very uncomfortable.
We did not use the Japanese style bath as they did not look very nice.
There was a laundry which was excellent and only cost 300 yen to wash and dry a load.
The host were friendly.
We did not have breakfast here, but the people in our group that did said it was terrible and did not recommend it.
