Stayed 2 nights in this hotel and was happy with all of it. Staff were friendly and helpful with any requests we had. Room was the average Japanese size and was clean and had tea making facilities and refrigerator. Location was the main reason we stayed here as it is only a short walk to the JR railway station and as we found out also the street car terminal and buses. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores close by.

Handy location near JR Station

The bathroom and bathroom are small, barely to be turned around. Behind the window is a 50 cm wall of the neighbouring house. There is no closet for clothing, there is a hanger behind the door and a dryer. There is a press for folding the clothes. Where to place the suitcase so as not to get stuck on it is a big problem, because under the table there is no refrigerator and a chair, and at the exit there is a free space with a puff, a press for eye dryer and a dryer for clothing.

The numbers aren't just small, they're extremely small.

The hotel is very well located: barely 100 meters from Hiroshima's train station, however, its facilities need an urgent renovation: it looks as if the weather had stopped in the 1960s. It is worth noting that the price includes breakfast.

This hotel needs a reform!

Certainly not the most modern hotel, but it’s a great price and great location. The hotel is about a 3min walk from Hiroshima station which is super convenient (you can also access all trams/street rail cars from the front of this station too). 
Google maps took us to the rear entrance (whoops) don’t go through that way unless you want to make an awkward arrival. The front entrance is near the 7/11, massage shop and realestate storefront. Head down a small outdoor corridor to the front entrance. 
The beds are comfy and the room is a bit bigger than the standard small Japanese businessman style rooms - space for two suitcases on the ground plus moving around unhindered. 
There’s only one washer and dryer (accessed via the door near the ground floor elevator) but I never ran into anyone else using it. I believe they also offer a laundry service. 
Staff were very kind and efficient. 
Would stay again! 

Cheap and great location!

This hotel doesn't pretend to be first class and it isn't.....but it was the only one with rooms available during the Golden Week.....
It is old and somewhat tired and the rooms are extremely small. We traveled with carry-on luggage only and hardly fitted in the room. If you have more than that you'll struggle to fit in the room. Shower and toilet were the smallest I have ever encountered in a hotel, BUT clean and functional.
Location two minutes walk from the station is ideal, though and there are plenty restaurants in the area.
Breakfast was surprisingly good for the price, you have choice between Japanese and Western: we tried both and both were good (at Y800 it doesn't break the bank).
Service is friendly and efficient, though.

Very small rooms, but ok and good location

I work in a hotel and I'm very careful when scoring because I'm clear that the score should be in relation to the quality/price you pay.On the positive side, the location, which although not central, is very close to the train, bus and tram station, so it's very convenient.The hotel's facilities, in general, were also very clean.The hotel needs a very deep rehabilitation.It's very old and nothing is updated.The WiFi is faulty, the heating works when you want, the mattress is uncomfortable and the staff doesn't speak English.It compensates for sympathy, that is.The key to the room was the old ones, which must be returned to the reception.Although the experience has been very negative, the reformers won't come back.

Reforms are needed.

Just a few minutes walk from the main train station and Hiroshima station. The area opposite the hotel got lots of small local restaurants in the little alleys where you can enjoy food and drinks like the locals. Plenty of department stores and little shops around.

Cheap and cheerful hotel with everything around

Staff were really friendly, facilities are pretty basic and room a bit small but perfectly fine. Best thing is location, 30 second walk from main hiroshima station makes it perfect place for day trip to miyajima and for heading off to and arriving from other cities.

Great location

It's absurd, a 2 star in Japan with the widest room of 3 and 4 stars used for the other stages of the trip. You can still see that it's a 2 star and if you're satisfied people, it's fine.

Great for a night.

It was a nice hotel, but the rooms were too small, we could barely pack a suitcase, not very comfortable, and we were woken up several times in the night by the alarm of the elevator that didn't work!
