We have stayed in twin beds room for 4 nights. The location is good with 5 minutes walk to railway station. 

When we Switched on the air conditioner, there was an awful smell and thus we sought help from the front desk. However, the staff was poor in English and could not helped us anything. Eventually we could only ask for a spray. 

The breakfast was with very limited choice and taste so so. 



Fair service with good location

We stayed for a couple of nights here as we booked at the last minute and most everything was full. We ended up in an economy room and it was... tiny. The bed filled nearly the entire room with a small entrace corridor being the only other free space outside of a sliver of space on one side of the bed (the others being against the walls). The bathroom was - we joked - like a cruise ship and only missing a port-hole! 

If you're a physically small person, and on a budget then this is ok for a night or two. Just don't expect much and use it only as a place to sleep whilst you explore the city.

Ok if you're on a serious budget

This is a fairly basic hotel that fitted the bill for a two night stay. It is about 15 minutes walk from the train station and quite a walk to the A bomb dome and museum. 
It is clean and warm, a bit dated but perfectly adequate. There is a free breakfast included.

Basic business hotel

This hotel is not really catering for foreigners, it belongs to the Japanese Toyoko inn chain. So people hardly speak any English there and nearly everything is written in Japanese. The breakfast is simple and Japanese style. However, the rooms, even though obviously very small, are comfortable and have all necessary facilities (TV, internet, tea cooking facilities, small fridge, etc. Bike rental is possible. Most importantly, the hotel is very reasonably priced for a major Japanese city. We would stay again.

good choice

This economical hotel is super clean and sufficient. I stayed with my daughter and we loved it. It's close to Hiroshima main station and they are developing a big office/ retail building near by. It's conveniently located and once you master their bus & street car map you won't have any problem to get around. The room is small but it's very clean and efficiently laid out. They even offer you a free breakfast until 10 am. It's quite good with, rice balls, miso soup, some side dishes, toast, coffee or tea. We really enjoyed our staying. I highly recommend it.

Super clean

The hotel is very simple. The reception is next to a cafeteria. The room is very small like the bathroom. The hotel suggests that guests keep their bags under the bed. We find everything clean and the staff very polite and helpful. It has a washing machine and dryer for the use of the guests.

It's very simple.

The hotel is not as close to the train station as I expected, we had to walk a few blocks and when we got there, the lobby was undergoing renovations. However, we were well served, they offer the standard services of the Toyoko Inn network and do not disappoint. One advantage of the hotel is the proximity to the Shukkeien.

It's simple!

We stayed one night at this hotel, because of its proximity to the Shinkansen station, and the city center. It has free transportation from the station, but you can also go by taxi or on foot. Comfortable rooms, hotel with attentive staff, breakfast in the lobby simple but correct. A cheap place to pass through Hiroshima near the Peace Museum area, the bombing area and a handful of the city center.

 Practical, comfortable and close to the train and the city centre.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, the room was clean enough spacious and comfortable, great price and location near the station where you get to in a few minutes.

Good location.

I'm about 15 minutes' walk from the southern exit of Hiroshima railway station (go out of the southern exit of JR station, get down to the subway, follow the signs, get out, cross the road, walk another 200 meters - and here's the hotel!). That is, on the one hand, close to the train station, on the other hand - I'm about 15 minutes' walk from the southern exit of Hiroshima railway station to my hotel.
