The price was good !
Their bath place was good !
Free massage chair , also their breakfast was only 550 yen and it was all you can eat !

Location was just maybe 3 minutes from the station ! Convenient stores nearby , airport bus available nearby ( but taxi is cheap enough )

The room was fine , however , the first room hey gave us has a vomit smell, but they changed the room right away after I report the problem !
The service was good !

First stop before heading to Miyajima

This was a lay over before our tour start. The hotel was about 5min walk from the station. We booked a room with a massage chair. The bathroom had a see through glass with curtains.

We woke up at 6am for a run and saw many people having breakfast. Breakfast was simple but delicious.

The airport was a short distance by taxi.

Unfortunately the Kintaikyo was under renovation also. 

Near station and airport

Whilst the room was quite small it was comfortable and had most expected features for a business hotel.  The bathroom had a window (with a curtain) opening on the room, which gave a feeling of added space.  Reception staff were friendly and well organised and extremely helpful when I was not well the next morning and with the help of google translate, one generously went to the nearby pharmacy to get the fluid I required.  The Post Office was just over the road, and the bus for the Kintaikyo bridge left from outside the Iwakuni station which was a short walk away

Comfortable and convenient to the station and restaurants

I stayed here for three days while working at MCAS Iwakuni. The hotel is downtown and a short ride from the airport. The rooms are a tad bit small for a double bed, but nice. I stayed on thew 10th floor and the A/C worked fine since it was so hot. The staff was helpful as can be with language barrier, but I was able to reserve cabs and get extra bedding no problem.The hotel has a small breakfast buffet in the lobby (Y550) that is sufficient for getting the day started. I too asked about restaurants, but decided instead to go to the Fuji Grand Iwakuni Hotel which has a supermarket on the bottom level. It is 150m from the Green Rich and has everything you would want to eat or drink that you could bring back to your room. To NOTE, they do not check people in until 1500, so make sure you do not get there too early if you can.

Great location

Not very impressed. I feel like I got catfished by the pictures on Kayak. The lobby was beautiful. My actual room was basic, simple, and lackluster. The room was also small. The bed is very firm and I noticed a small stain on my sheets. They don’t speak English well nor do they use Google Translate to help communicate with foreigners. They were nice, though. If you have a very early flight and need to check in even earlier, the airport shuttle won’t be of assistance since it runs after 8am. I guess I can’t expect much for 50 bucks a night. Only plus is that it’s downtown and you’re close to restaurants.

I’m not impressed…

I stayed at the Green Rich for about two weeks while on business for work at MCAS Iwakuni. It is centrally located in the downtown area about a 10 minute drive to the base. Rooms are typical Japanese (western) style rooms that are small but functional. The room had a desk, TV, free cell phone, and coffee maker for use. The bed was as hard as a rock, which is not my preference, so I found it quite uncomfortable. There is not much room to hang cloths, so plan on bringing some hangers if you are staying awhile. Breakfast is served in the lobby for about $5 (500 yen) and is good. There is a paid reserved lot for cars that is a quick walk out back, but is quite small, so reserve a spot early if you plan on having a rental. Otherwise there is a pay as you use lot next to it. Being central, there are lots of great restaurant choices within quick walk and the JR Station is just a few blocks away. Overall, it’s a solid choice and the staff is very friendly. You’ll do no wrong staying here.

Clean and Adordable

Stayed here for two nights. The hotel is located close to Iwakuni station and is easy to find. It’s clean, newish and small. The room was fine, only the bare minimum of amenities though. No shower cap, brush and the like, only a toothbrush and razor. This place is a bit stingy on those things, it provides a water boiling pot but no complimentary tea or coffee in the room. Only 2 towels as well. It did have an awesome massage chair though that made up for the lack of some other amenities. 
Breakfast was prepared in the small lobby area, had bare essentials but tasted alright. I didn’t try the public bath as there were not enough towels. There was a persistent smell of sweat in the hallways. The door and windows are not sound proof so it can get noisy. You hear everything from the hallway and most of the traffic and trains from the station nearby.
It was an okay hotel but all things considered, a bit pricey fro the service.

Clean

This hotel is very inconvenient to stay at for a westerner.  Not recommended but very few options in the area.  Had to stay here because the military lodging was full.  Parking is between 500 and 700 yen per day and if you have to leave out more than once per day you pay again.  The "free" tea and coffee machine is only available during the breakfast hours.  The room has ac and heat but the room still is cold. I think I'm getting sick because of it.  The hotel had no hot water when I checked in. Only the public Onsen had hot water.  Only fixed after threatening to leave.  Very small rooms with no space.  You hang you clothes on the wall.  Barely room for luggage.  Not that I watch TV but if you did you have to buy a card to watch anything remotely entertaining.  If you're looking for adventure and the simple life it might be ok.  But for work and you need convenience its not good at all.  Seems like you get nickled and dimed for just about everything. I would look for an international brand if you have flexibility to commute a bit further.
