Stayed at this delightful and fantastic place for 5 nights. As we arrived before check-in time, hosts (polite/gracious) allow us to deposit our bags as we explore the Kanazawa areas. Place is walking distance from Kanazawa JR Station. All the rooms are clean and comfortably furnished. Free Wi-Fi is fast. Kitchen is on the ground level. There's even a lounge area for you to chill out. Only drawback is this place has no elevator(it's a 3 storey building. Good luck to those with bulky/heavy bags). Place is accessible to the following recommended tourist spots : (1) Kenrokuen (2) 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art (3) Higashi Chayagai/Higashi Chaya District (4) Kanazawa Castle (5) Omicho Market @ Jem for seafood lovers (6) Nomura Clan Samurai House (7) Kanazawa Station....

5 Delightful and Fanstastic Days @ Kanazawa

We stayed for 2 nights. It is located proximity to Kanazawa JR station and check in counter is at another location which is not far away. Staff was friendly, service was good. The premise has no lift. The facility was good with toilet on every floor, washing machine available too. Shared area is very cozy and clean. Overall it was a good stay

Convenient location

Dirty, dirty, expensive for what it offers. Better to sleep on the street. Ah, and there are chinches. The curtains of the bedrooms don't cover and it's as if there were none. They offer you free grapefruit wine but it's the cheapest brick in the supermarket and you can't drink.

Horrible 

We stayed with our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 Young adults> 16y) in 2 rooms on the 3 th Floor. IT were the only 2 rooms on that Floor with a restroom. The hostel provides Free coffee and Washing machine. IT is well located near the station. Highly recommonded!

3th floor

In an easy-going way, this place is welcoming. Coffee is available , so are bikes, all for free. A little terrace was great, clean room, although ours needed some repainting and decorations. I recommand this hostel.

Nice place to stay, many conveniences, well located, clean.

Close to Kanazawa station, 15 min walking to Omicho Market, 20 min to Kenrokuen and Kanazawa castle.
We were friendly welcomed in this guesthouse by a kind and english speaking girl. Fast and easy check-in, our room was large and clean.
Bathroom and shower were clean and just in front of our room door.
Nice overall atmosphere, we spent a couple of hours in the evening speaking and sharing plum wine with other guests.

Very pleasant stay

This hostel met my needs for a quick overnight visit. Good location for accessing common sites. Hard working staff. It scores a 5 for my needs, but given space and age I have scored it a liitle lower.

Good value & welcoming staff.

Kanazawa station is rounded with a lot of hotels. But we cannot afford to spend our 2 nights there. So we look out for guesthouse that near the station and have cheaper price. Then we find this guesthouse and book a family room (for 3 person) with shared bathroom. The location itself is just 7 min walking from Kanazawa Station. They have some toilets and 2 shower rooms. They have a little kitchen and a lounge. They provide a free washing machine (no dryer). I feel comfortable stayed in here since it just a place for us to sleep.

Nice guesthouse near Kanazawa Station

We couldn't sleep until 1am...a group of people eating dinner was in a party mode and there was no one to complain to...the only positive thing is that they left you a bicycle.

 Deception

The location is very close to the station, the staff is wonderful and very friendly but with respect to accommodation maybe it is not enough to touch us a good room, we stayed on the top floor the space was tremendously reduced for three people and even opening the suitcases was a headache, what saves the room is the private terrace that has even on the doorstep to warn you: the gates of heaven on clear days and the gates of hell when it rains. The cleanliness of the place leaves much to be desired. But you have tickets to use for free, the price ratio for the bike is quite poor since in Kyoto I stayed in a hostel for less money and wonder as in Tokyo and all the places where I was.
