We stayed for 2 nights. This was our second Toyoko Inn stay. The room was clean and usual Japanese size. Beds have room to roll your suitcases under if you want to if they are not too  high. We had no complaints. Breakfast was included. It is quite basic but all that you need. The ladies who are the cooks and serve are very friendly.  I would definitely stay here again.

PLEASANTLY SURPRISED

Even though no surprise but also no disappointed. All Toyoko Inn hotels are the same. When you check in just present your membership card and passport then get a discount. They are provide daily complimentary breakfast which very nice. The room are clean and good enough for 2 persons stay. 

The major reason I love to stay in Toyoko Inn as most of their hotels are just located next to the train station which very important and convenience for travelers.

Always keep the good standard

I booked 4-nights with my Toyoko-Inn card number and in Toyoko- Inn web. A discount was given to member. When in checked in today, the front desk (Tanii-san and Kanaya-san) told me no memebership card no dicount. I told them the memebership card limks to a name and i show them mmy name and photo on my credit card, they refused to accept. I asked to speak to their manager. Their answer is manager is not in and she cannot speak English. I am forced to pay for a new membersip card. I am not sure it is resulted on poor competence of front desk or it is a management problem.

Remember to bring your Toyoko Inn Membership Card. Their policy no card no discount

The room is relatively small, but enough to spend the nights, with bathroom, TV, refrigerator and electric equipment for making tea. Eastern style breakfast included in daily, quite reasonable for a start of the day. And good location: it is close to Kanazawa station and, with a little more convenience it is possible to walk to Kenrokuen Garden or Omicho Market. There are onibus options that pass through these and other attractions.

Excellent cost/benefit and good location!

We stayed at this hotel as part of an organized tour of Japan. It's clean, quiet, the staff is friendly. It's a 5-minute walk to the train station. Breakfast is completely non-food. But there's a way out: a 2-minute walk to the cafe where you can eat for 12 dollars for two, or buy something to your liking at the nearest supermarket within a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

Great location and tasteless breakfast.

I always put Toyoko inn as my first choice and the Kanazawa higashiguchi branch was just like one of their many other branches. 
Good service, and good location, with easy to understand directions.
There is a GUSTO (24 hours) right beside the hotel, though I did not have any chance to dine there, but emergency cravings can always be satisfied.
About 4 minute walk from the station to the hotel, with 3 convenience stores along the way
A very good experience overall

Toyoko inn never fails me

There are many better choices in Kanazawa for the price. Horrible smoking smell throughout the property-rooms, hallways; apparently business people come here to smoke. Hallways are loud and included breakfast served on folding tables, limited choices. That the hotel is just a few blocks from the train station is its only saving grace.

You get what you pay for

Basic budget hotel, good helpful staff that speaks English, rooms are clean and spacious (compared to Japan hotel rooms) all essentials available. About 5 min walk from the JR Kanazawa station. Free breakfast - rice balls, miso soup, toast and egg etc.

Good basic hotel as all Toyoko Inn are

Easy walk from the station.
There is no onsen in the hotel as someone wrote.
Typical Toyoko Inn ,efficient staff, clean rooms and good amenities.
Breakfast had more choice than some other Toyoko Inns and also a bigger eating area.
Despite being fully booked we did not hear any noise.
Would reccomend

Very good hotel with parking for vehicles with price well in mind I stayed one night the hotel with good service and breakfast included hotel five minutes from Kanazawa station by car fifteen minutes by road several other tourist spots to visit
