The hotel was the best stay we could wish for in the Grand Hirafu area. The hosts -Tak, Sato, and Tsuyoshi were amazing and did everything in their power to make our stay memorable and enjoyable (and yes, they do have free laundry)! They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing-the BLISS lounge is a must. We loved the BLISS birthday cake and the cotton candy making in the BLISS lounge. There was so much snow to ski, Onsen to relax in, and restaurants to dine at in the area, and the buses made it easy to get around. One thing: the area does have a traffic problem around 6-7 PM, but the buses are still great otherwise for getting around, and there are many restaurants that are within walking distance. We really loved Sato’s recommendation of Dan Dan noodles and Tsubara Tsubara. We loved our stay and hope to come back!

Incredible trip in Hirafu

Sited well near Hirafu and the crossroads to Kutchan.
Rooms are modern and warm, insulated from the cold. Fully functioning kitchen that comes in useful for a 3 course feast. Satoko and Tsuyoshi were superb hosts who helped out with our every wish.

Washer and dryer were free to use. A boon for us who stayed 8 nights. 

Their personal service is warm and well appreciated!

Choose Bliss in Niseko 

This was not only my first trip to Niseko / Grand Hirafu to ski but also my first trip to Japan.   Our daughter had come over to teach English in Aomori and I came over to visit her for Christmas and go skiing.   I picked Bliss Lodging because it had a 2 bedroom condo available and free pickup service to and from the train station.   What a wonderfully blissful experience.   The hosts made us feel right at home and as they told us "If you are happy we are even happier". Grand Hirafu Village is about a 20-minute walk away, but there is a shuttle bus stop right out the front door that comes every 30 minutes during the day.  We took the bus each morning to ski and rode it back in the late afternoon when we were finished.  Very convenient.   Also within a few minutes walk of Bliss, are three restaurants, a Lawsons and a Seven-Eleven so we never felt the need to go into the Grand Hirafu Village in the evening though that was an option.   I would definitely recommend it to anyone that comes to Niseko to ski.  Also, as far as I am concerned, Grand Hirafu and Hanazono are the best parts of the mountain to ski on. 

A Blissful stay at Bliss

The staff are what really make this place great. They go out of their way to make your stay special. The staff hold events every few days to provide guests with unique experiences to learn about japanese culture. The free hotel shuttle to the slopes each morning is great and the staff are always available to answer any questions you have. 

The rooms themselves are nice, new, clean and have good facilities. The kitchens are equipped with pretty much anything you could need to cook. If you are looking for somewhere to stay for your sightseeing or ski trip in niseko, look no further!

Amazing Staff, Fantastic Accommodation 

Very friendly staff that make you feel at home, somethin that only a small accomodation can do.

Rooms are small, as is most of accom here, but adequate. Not much to do onsite.... but you are here for the snow after all. 

Bus stop for free shuttle is on the doorstep, runs every 15-20 min and takes 5-10 min to the gondola/restaurants etc. 

Good inroom wifi included, with small kitchenette which was quite useful for breakfast/snacks etc

My only recommendation would be to get smart TVs or add on cheap media box so guests can get entertainment content in room

Friendly boutique lodging

The hotel staff went above and beyond to make my 5 day solo ski trip a very memorable one! The people (Satoko/Tsuyo/Kana) are friendly, accommodating and always trying their best to help. It really stood out from the usually chain hotels with a very relaxing, friendly and homely experience.

I had a midnight arrival due to flight delays but they still picked up as promised, brought me to the local store to get breakfast and supplies (a must do) and patiently explained the area to me. During the stay, they hosted Takoyaki party. It was fun to see them make the food themselves and cook on the spot. A good selection of Sake and Japanese Whisky were provided. In the evening sukiyaki were provided in the reception area for free.

There is a ski bus stop right at the hotel and it comes every 20 mins. If the hotel van happens to go out at the same time they can generally give a ride. (Ski bus service ends at 20:30).

The room itself is immaculately clean and generous size by Japanese standard. It has a fully functional kitchen with utensils to make quick work of breakfast or takeout dinners. Thus it is important to stock up from the local convenience store on arrival if you want max time on the mountain.

Overall this is a very memorable solo ski trip thanks to Bliss Lodging. The staff really make me feel like part of the family and experience the Japanese culture/hospitality through the daily interactions and activities, which is something rare to come by in this very touristy area.

Amazing Staff!

Clean, functional. No complaints. I liked the kitchenette. Not very well located to the town or to the slopes if you don't have a car. I visited in summer. The hotel seems to have been built recently. From the upper floor the windows have okay views of Mt. Yotei.

Functional lodging with kitchenette

A nice, quaint, quiet inn with incredibly friendly owners. The rooms are basically small apartments and have plenty of space. The only downside was that we were there in the summer and the rooms have no AC. However, the hotel provided a fan and we slept with the window open, which helped considerably. If you are planning on staying in the winter then obviously this isn't an issue. Overall it was a great stay and is definitely stay again.
