It's one of the best options to stay in Hirafu central area, 5-10 minutes of walk to the Ace quad chairlift and 0 minute to the famous Tozanken Ramen. The rooms are very clean and spacious. It comes with its own small onsen, the coin laundry facility, and a dry room for storing your ski equipment. Finally, the owner showed great hospitality and offered the help we needed during our stay, definitely worth 10 out of 10 score! 

Excellent choice for staying in Niseko Hirafu Area!

I can’t believe my luck that I was able to get a room at last minute!

The room was surprisingly big! I had a lot of room to move around even with my huge luggage opened fully :)

Did I mention that breakfast was included? Simple but prepared right!

If you don’t mind shared toilets and bathrooms (a small onsen included), it’s perfect for you :)

Amazing location with awesome rates!

Brilliant. Very nice people and excellent breakfast. We stayed in 2 rooms (family of four). Help yourself to tea and hot water, always available. Rooms are warm, have space to hang clothes. Toilets, shower and sinks are public but was not a problem and everything is clean. The showers have a hot spring type pool. Drinks machines downstairs by the ski drying room. We hired 4 full standard sets of ski clothes, skis and snowboard from the company they recommended. Price was *much* cheaper than hiring from shops and also the company delivered and collected from the pension. Couldn't have been easier and can pay by credit card for the hire. As mentioned, the family who run this Pension are very nice and very helpful if there is any small problem. You will not find a better breakfast anywhere in Hokkaido.

First time skiing in Hokkaido and staying in a Pension

I stayed here on my last snowboard trip to Niseko. I absolutely loved staying there because of the proximity to Grand Hirafu and the staff. The staff there are amazing and kind. They always have a smile on their face and was helpful. Breakfast is a home cooked style. Very delicious and looked forward to breakfast each day. The bathrooms and shower rooms are community. I do believe there are a few rooms that do have bathrooms but cost a little more. They have coin laundry available as well as a room to store your gear after hitting the slopes. The shower room has an onsen that I used every morning and evening. The one thing that I didn't like was the price. But everything at Niseko is expensive and when you take in to account how close it is to the life for Grand Hirafu and all the other attractions, it's not that bad. Overall, I love my stay and actually wanted to stay there again, but it was all booked on the days I'll be there in Niseko.

Very Good, but Pricey

It is near Niseko center where all restaurants, bars and ski resorts are location. It was also walking distance from the main bus station.

Although looks small from the outside, the hotel was very charming and the staff is very accommodating. The lady in the reception helped us find accommodation and transportation. Breakfast was basic but filling. I love the onsen inside the hotel and ski storage facility in the basement. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Good Location and Excellent Staff

Location is perfect and the facilities while basic are clean and well maintained and the whole ski lodge is warm. 

It def has a homestay vibe to it so if your a group looking to party and be rowdy prob not the best as its very quiet and the family that own and run live onsite. 

They cook you an English breakfast every morning (their version of an english breakfast) and you can have extra fruit and yogurt along with orange juice, coffee and tea by helping yourself in the breakfast dinning room. 

The location is perfect right next to a famous ramen noodle bar, opposite the slopes (about a 5 - 8 mins walk if you go across the road and down a driveway) ask the locals or hosts for the best way to walk to the Ace family lift. 

Lodge also features a little onsen and the shower room is small and shared but clean.

Excellent - Japanese Homestay

We stayed at Pension Berg for four nights and absolutely loved it. The family that runs it are so friendly and helpful. The location is right on the main road leading up to the lifts; it was easy to walk to and from the hills every day. Every day after skiing we'd use the little onsens they have there; very relaxing! One of the best parts of our stay was the fantastic breakfast they prepared each morning. It was different every day but always included eggs, meat, fruit, cereal, toast, coffee....so tasty! We would be so full from breakfast most days that we didn't really need to eat lunch! 

Two things to note: 1. It is run by a family who live there, so if you stay, don't be rowdy... they have kids. 2. There are shared bathrooms, but they are super clean!
