Stayed at twin bedroom, with Nagasaki port view.  Very clean and location was accessible to tram stations.  They provided simple breakfast and the lounge area was cozy, with many hand written info about Nagasaki for tourists to read.  Can get discount with staff if going to Nagasaki Ropeway to see the top 3 night view from around the world.  Pantry supplies were sufficient. 
One little thing, I wish they had lift instead of having the walk 3 flights of stairs with luggage.

Very clean, good facilities and lounge area.

Good place to stay. Curtains for privacy in the dorm. Clean place. Good WiFi. Helpful staff. Free breakfast (toast, jam, coffee).

I just wish the prices would be more affordable for backpacker's.

Good place

Stayed at the superior room. Very clean and very accessible place in Nagasaki. The tram station was just across the hostel while the bus station from outside Nagasaki was 10 minutes walk away. The hostel has a big balcony with hangers provided for your laundry. Friendly staff who also speaks English. Free bread and jam + coffee and tea for breakfast. Only concern is no elevator and you would need climb to 3rd floor where the reception is.

Value for money

I have just stayed for 2 nights.  That was enough and I couldn't to leave.  I based my booking on the great reviews on Hostelworld and Trip Advisor.  I have no idea how this place has such great reviews.  
Firstly, reception is on the 3rd floor with no lift.  There is only one staircase in and out of the hostel. My female dorm, #301, was just outside of reception.  The dorms are accessible without ever passing reception so anyone can walk in off the street.  Regardless of a sign on the door saying to lock it, I left the "cleaners" in my room at 10am and when I returned at 7pm, the door was unlocked.  I was the only one in the dorm so could only have been the staff that had left it unlocked the entire day.
The room was dark and dingy.  Some of the walls had been painted by the bed, mine, #8, had not.  It was disgusting and dirty.  When I laid down i noticed I had the contents of someone's nose hanging from above my head.
It is located near to the train station which is great, however the tram line is directly outside and is extremely noisy.
The staff are really unfriendly and don't even acknowledge you.
As I sat in the lounge area, on the cream sofa, I noticed little bugs crawling accross it.
This is by far the worst hostel I have stayed in in Japan.  I would recommend you look elsewhere.  I would never stay here again.

Dirty

Booked 2 nights stay in Casa Noda and I couldn't be any happier. Location was perfect! Only 1 tram station away from the Nagasaki Station and the room was clean and got all the basic necessities. The hostel is on the second floor, so if you are bringing luggage, you will need to do a bit of walking up the staircases. Simple daily breakfast is provided and bunk bed was spacious to me. I booked the lower bunk at the Mix dorm room. Got a window view of the town area.

Perfect for my 2 nights stay in Nagasaki

January 2019 my family and I had 2 nights at Casa Noda in Nagasaki. 
Quite a small hostel just a short walk from the railway station. Greeted by a very welcoming smile and all the information needed checked into our bunk dorms that were very clean and well set out. The room had 8 bunks I think but I was never disturbed by anyone else. The room also had its own toilet and shower.
A lite breakfast available in the morning with coffee and tea available 24/7.
As with all Japan the public transport in Nagasaki is great with a tram stop outside Casa Noda making the sightseeing easily accessed. (lots to see here)
I would stay here again, nice little hostel with very friendly staff and guests.

Nagasaki - Interesting

Booked this place last-minute as my ferry to Goto was cancelled bc of typhoon. It was cheap & super close to the station. You could help yourself to tea/coffee, and they had bread/jams for toast for free in the morning. The staff were super friendly, beds spacious and comfortable! The only issue (not for me, as I had a backpack, but if I ever went back) is there are a lot of stairs and no lift, so anyone with super heavy suitcases might struggle.

awesome location & price!

Located 500 meters from the train station, on the right exit from the train station on the same sidewalk opposite the Goto Machi tram stop, this hostel does not charge a dime, the reception is on the second floor after climbing the stairs well. You should not get stuck on this detail because the rest is of an excellent ratio: we had a room on the top floor, quite large with independent toilets and mini private bathroom right next to the terrace with a very nice view of the mountain and the sea. All very clean for a small cost of 6500 yen per night including wifi and a coffee or the accompanied by a price of bread and jam. I have not seen the beds in the closet at a lower cost. I have not seen the proper accommodation of the family, but the bathroom is very convenient to rent, and there is also a 100 hence to rent. The bathroom is very convenient for everyone to use.

A very good price ratio

We spent 2 nights in a double room with private bathroom in Casa Noda. The room was beautiful, large, comfortable and clean. The common room was very nice and the hostel was well placed to visit the city. Upon arrival, the hostel gives you many discount vouchers for the different attractions of the city and the staff is very helpful and full of good advice. They helped us to change a reservation by calling us the relevant hotel. Good morning breakfast and everything at a low price. We would like all hostels to be like this. Thank you!

The perfect hostel!

A good address with a warm, family friendly welcome and proper service. The whole place is clean. The dormitories are mixed, and we feel good in them. Besides, the establishment is well located. You can easily visit the place from here. It's also a good price ratio. I recommend.
