Firstly, no shoes. When you go, you have to take your shoes off, which makes it annoying if you forgot to bring something.

Lockers are seperated from your bed, and they are narrow and tall. My luggage was scratched hard from the lockers because I forced it in. Don't recommend doing that.

When I first checked in and looked for my bed, I was surprised to see how dark the room was, it was kind of scary and offputting. Definitely not like the photos on their website. Felt like something from a horror movie. 

At least they let me change beds to be one closer to the door because I wouldn't sleep comfortably at the end of the corridor (my original bed)

The onsens were gross. Place smelt like toothpaste and the water has a lot of dirty stuff (like skin flakes) in them for both nights I was there. I couldn't relax thinking how dirty I would be after coming out.

Although there is a sheltered outdoor onsen (walled in btw, can't see outside from the bath) and there is a weird underwater massager that pushes pulses through your body. And the sauna was nice. 

You wont get the best of both worlds if you wanna be cheap and have a great onsen experience. 

You get what you pay for

Hotel capsule for a transit passage to Sapporo before a flight to Tokyo very early in the morning. So it made the deal for a short transit night. Many service options that I didn't get a chance to test due to lack of time. No closed showers. A cigarette smell despite being in a non-smoking space. Breakfast was included but I couldn't benefit from it because I left too early and the hotel didn't offer it until 7:30 without the possibility of having a shopping cart if we left earlier.

Capsule hotel for transit in Sapporo

This was my first stay at a Japanese capsule hotel, and I was highly impressed with the standard of SOLE Suskino. 

The location is five minutes' walk from Suskino station, great for nights out in the party area or for general sightseeing/shopping in the city. Access and check in are easy (24 hour access), and the facilities are great for a super cheap rate. Breakfast is basic but included, and the onsen is one of the better ones I've used with the full range of hot, cold and mineral pools plus a steam room. 

Sleeping spaces themselves are roomy, large enough to comfortably sit up in - definitely not coffins! And there was the minimum of noise from other sleepers, no problem there. 

My only two negative comments - wifi reception in the sleeping areas was a bit sketchy. And the sleeping floors were kept very cold so it would be worth asking for an extra blanket. 

All in all, excellent!

Excellent capsule hotel, great location and value for money

Location was great! Near subway and bus lines, short walk to various sights including Ramen Alley, JR Tower, Odori Park. Clean facilities, helpful staff and 24 hour onsen. (Spa) Toiletries are provided, everything from toothbrushes to razors to pajamas. Perfect for Solo travelers who just want a simple place to lay their head down.

Great value! Excellent location

We went to spend the last night before traveling home, and to see how the individual niches / cabins are and we were enchanted.A hotel made more for the city than for foreigners, at first seems a bit complicated in the distribution, but, once you adapt, everything seems wonderful.Genial everything: the bed, the clothes that you are given to be inside the hotel (a kind of pajamas) the supplements that you have everywhere (soap, gel, shampoo, combs, toothbrushes, towels...note nothing) And the Spa (included in the price plus breakfast) has no explanation.

Excellent and rewarding experience.

If you like Japanese culture and are free in your mind to explore things, this is something for you. A fairly new cubicle hotel, right at the epicenter of action in Sapporo with superb amenities; fantastic mini onsen style spa, lavish relax lounge and superb Japanese style breakfast!

Perfect spot to explore Sapporo

It is situated in Susukino area, where lots of shops and restaurants around. You can get here by taking a train to susukino station and walk around 5 minutes. 

There are plenty of services available inside the hotel: laundry, restaurant(inside the hotel), massage service, public and hot bath, leisure room(manga, TV, music) and etc. You can basically hole up here if you do not feel like going out. 

The reception area is open 24 hours, so it is very easy for check in and out. The staffs are very good in service. Most spoke little english but you will get by. the rooms are clean, toilets and bath area are great too. Convenience is the first thing that comes to my mind during my stay. 

Overall its a very pleasant stay. Recommended.
