The hotel is situated off the busy Susukino area on a quieter side, with a Lawson's mini mart a stone's throw away and a popular ramen eatery just opposite the hotel. There's always a long queue at the ramen place even on a chilly winter night. If you don't want to join the queue, there is no lack of eateries in the vicinity. There is also a ramen alley at the Susukino area if hunger pangs strike late at night. If you are too tired to walk in the cold winter after a day of sightseeing, the take-out packed meals at Lawson's are not bad. 

Like most Japanese hotels, the room is clean and rather spacious but looks rather dated and bed is also lumpy and quite hard. The saving grace is they have a choice of different types of pillows for you to choose from at the lobby. Another plus factor is that at least one of the hotel reception staff can speak English and even Mandarin. The hotel is also eco conscious, guests will be rewarded with a free drink of their choice if they do not require daily housekeeping. Thumbs up for being environmentally friendly! 

Dated but Eco-friendly Hotel

My husband and I stayed here for 2 days, our first stop in Hokkaido. The room was of good size, but in 80’s style, pretty dim and depressing lighting. Amenities were standard, the staff was efficient. Other than that nothing much to write home about.

Convenient Location

We booked family room as there are 4 of us and we prefer to stay in a room together. The room is spacious enough for us which include a small living area with sofa. The hotel staff is nice. You need to reserve in advance if you wish to park at hotel car park. There are plenty of car park nearby also.

There is a delicious ramen just right opposite the hotel, always see it with long queue even until late night. 

We are happy with our stay in this hotel. Will recommend it to our friends

Clean and spacious

The hotel is not easy to arrive from subway station but when there is a very good view. 
The hall is big and stuff that talk wnglish can welcome you and give you a little surprice, if you want can use the spa/onsen close to the hotel using their invitation.
The rooms are big and the bed so confortable and great. The bathroom is large and very good to use.

Very nice place to stay, great location within the city.
Comfortable separate beds.
However, a lack of TV programs available.
Breakfast was very good with a large variety of food from a continental breakfast to pork curry for some reason.

Nice Place

We booked the 34 sq m room which was just huge by Japanese standard.  Upon second thought, it would be enough just to take the 24 sq m room for a somewhat lower price.

The hotel is a bit aged, but partial renovations had been done to the rooms.  Rooms are clean but sparsely furnished for a 34 sq m one.  Beds are all right.  The is a coin laundry on the 2nd floor. Price is reasonable for the size and quality.

It is on the fringe of Susukino and about a 10-minute brisk walk to the Susukino center.  The neighborhood is very quiet.  There is just a Lawson's and a Ramen shop across.  If you don't have breakfast at the hotel, your closest option is the Lawson's across or walk to Susukino center.

The hotel is all right of the price, but I would probably choose to stay near the Hokkaido station next time.  I just didn't like the Susukino area so much.

Very spacious hotel

This hotel impressed me greatly and I would definitely return when I come back to Hokkaido!

Location
The hotel is located just 10 mins walk from Susukino station and is also very near the Higashihonganjimae tram stop. The Susukino area is an entertainment district with also a lot of late night eats. However the hotel is a few streets down from the main bustling area so it's pretty quiet.The area it's in is teaming with hotels on every other street so there will be no lack of other choices. Its also a good walk to the famous Tanukikoji Shopping Street and the Nijo Market where you can indulge in fresh seafood!

Service
I have to commend the staff on their service and willingness to help. We were travelling up to Hokkaido in the middle of Typhoon Vongfong and had to make last minute travel adjustments. As such we had to cancel our last night's stay with this hotel and check in very late due to flight cancellations. Throughout the whole process they were very understanding and assured us they would cooperate in helping us get our refund for our cancellation from the travel agency.

On an added note, this hotel has a wonderful package with the Hotel Parco across the street for their use of the hotel onsen. Entry costs only 300 yen and is open from 11am-11pm daily with towels provided. This allowed us the complete onsen experience on a daily basis as a more therapeutic comfort rather then as a one time novelty.

Decor
The rooms are clean and modern with spacious toilets. The air-conditioning might have been faulty as it got a little too hot at times despite us adjusting the temperature multiple times. Bed is comfortable and warm, perfect for the cold Hokkaido weather.

Overall wonderful positives about this place! I would recommend this place highly!
