Love this place close to shopping, dinning and the beach.  Rooms are so comfortable and clean . Thank u so much the  to house keeper Maricon and other young filipino male House keeper who always knock and as if we need anything. Everyday that we come back from our tour we have fresh towels and clean room.

Unforgetable vacation

We ended up with a Japanese style room for the two nights we stayed.  It was cozy enough, and served its purpose.   The room also had a stove, sink, and a washing machine.  Overall a decent place to stay, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Not too shabby

The Beach Comber is around 300 meters from Zamami's ferry port, where the owners picked us up, which we really appreciated because of our heavy luggage. The room, more like a studio apartment, was simple but very well equipped with kitchenette, washing machine and a balcony. We slept on a comfortable futon. When you put it back in the closet in the morning, you can have breakfast at a typical Japanese low table while sitting on pillows. 
The beautiful Furuzamami and Ama beaches can be reached on foot (both around 1.5 km away).
The Beach Comber also offers water sport activities; we registered to a stand-up paddle tour but unfortunately it did not take lace due to sea conditions.
We could only pay cash.

Nice accommodation

The Beach Comber has small apartments with shower room, washing machine, small kitchen with the essentials (frigo, plate...), a small balcony to dry the towels. These are rentable (100 yen), as well as beach towels and palm-tuba masks if needed. The main room is about 15m2. The futons are not the most comfortable, but correct. You can have your breakfast there for 500 yen (rice, miso soup, egg, salad and drink).

Simple and convenient apartment

Because the communication  problem, we are late to check out around 1 hour and I feel so sorry  and say many sorry to them
But they are very angry and very Impolite treat  as us ,  and they totally no any guildline and explanation about zamami  island , we had  a very sad experience about it

Cheap and cheerful, the hosts were very friendly and the accommodation was simple, clean, and central. There's a little shop around the corner, a bike rental place opposite that, and you can hire snorkeling gear from the owners if you want. They came to meet us at the ferry port as well, which was a nice welcome to the island.

Basic facilities, but the shower/bath was great, the fridge was clean and there was a gas hotplate for cooking/boiling water in the kettle. There was free wifi available (not great connection in the room, but good in reception area). Ideal if you're going for a few days and are on a budget- even has a roof terrace for warm evening sunset viewing, beautiful!

Perfect apartment for budget travellers

I don't remember how I chose the accommodation, but I remember when we arrived I felt perplexed: I was expecting it maybe + beautiful? Then I realized: it's not a beautiful place, it's a cool place! The structure itself is nothing special: scratched like all the buildings on the island, with standard-clean and standard-sized apartments: no infamy or praise. It's quite close to the port, the bus stop, the shops (there are so few) and everything else you need. But its real strength is the managers and the connected diving!
