What a charming place and extroardinary experience! While all was foreign to us Americans, the engaged kindly staff acclimated us to the ryokan and onsen experience. Even though the ryokan provided a pass to the public onsen, we found this ryokan's own 3 private baths to be even more splendid. It was fun to walk around town in the ryokan's yakata outfits, experience the delicious and exquisite in-room dinner and breakfast, sleep on the comfy futon, and gaze at the beauty of the tastefully architected and furnished place. Centrally located, a 10 minute walk from the Kinosaki-onsen train station. No need to stay longer than one night.

Splendid experience

The room is nickel, with toilet. You have 3 ounces in the hotel that you can privatize as a couple. As for the meal, it's just sour and really very opulent, gargantuan...served in the room, you couldn't see the end but what quality of the food! And what flavor of the meat! Really to make for dinner. The morning bounces, in Japanese. The ryokan is ideally placed.

We stayed in this Riokan just one night but i think it is enough to experience the japanese most known accomodation.
The staff is friendly but their english is very very poor and this makes interactions very hard.
At your arrival they give you kimonos so that you can fully dive into their culture and you can also go arould kinosaki dressed that way.
The dinner is amazig, with all the tipical japanese dishes served in the very best way. Breakfast is very tipical as well, meaning that there is no sweet choice :(


A Good Japanese Experience!

We loved our stay! Tshi Arru was with us with little care, she speaks very well English (unlike the rest of the staff...) and she helped me put on my yukata, loaned by the hotel to go bathing. The room is large and comfortable, Japanese-style. There are private baths that allow for couples to go (attention max 45 min) but we preferred the one that was right next to the hotel, a hearty meal! In the evening, excellent and very generous! Little negative point: check-in is only possible at 3pm... and the next morning, it is impossible to leave our luggage to go for a walk (you have to pay 100 yen, either way you could not guarantee the price of the night, but this service is offered...)

What a service! Great meal! Comfortable room!

Stayed at this ryokan and the rooms were spacious. Clean and well organized. Yuna took care of us throughout our stay. She was knowledgeable and very friendly. I will definitely stay at this ryokan on my next trip. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent Ryokan. Great staff and comfortable stay.

We choose this place to try the ryokan experience. All was perfect! The kaiseki dinner, the private onsen, the kindness of owner and the staff. A special thank to our young waitress (A*****) that explained us every dish and leaded us into the japanese tradition.

Wonderful ryokan!

We stayed one night in this small ryokan. The rooms ware spacious and nicely decorated. Dinner and breakfast was served in the room and was very very good. There are 3 nice onsens in the hotel but they also have a free pass that allow you to visit the other onsens in the village. A must!

Perfect location, service, food and rooms

I have stayed in the hotel for one night. It is a small hotel with only 12 rooms.
But there are 3 small private onsen baths inside hotel for guests.The baths are wonderful.
The room is clean and comfortable.
Service is excellent, they will give a pair of soak for guests as welcome gift, it is very thoughtful.
Though the price maybe a little bit expensive but dinner and breakfast are included. Dinner is excellent and delicious , is worthy of that price.
A special staff will service the dinner for guests inside room, make guests feel as VIP of the hotel.
Onsen pass is given for the guest , so guest can use the seven onsens outside free of charge.
The seven onsens are comfortable and relaxing.
There is free hotel shuttle bus from kinosaki JR station to the hotel.
When we checked out , there is no shuttle bus offered, BUT 
the hotel will offer a free ride for the guest at 10:00am.
I highly recommend this hotel .
