Friendly and helpful staff.

Room and grounds dated but clean. 

Breakfast adequate. Pancake machine was a nice touch. The eggs tasted a little watery. Overall, the usual fare you’d expect. Dining area was clean. 

Room serviceable. Clean but could use some touch up. I had a king room. Bed not the most comfortable but also not the worst. Adequate number of receptacles and usb ports to charge devices. In room dorm fridge was as cold as I’ve seen. AC could have been a little cooler. Good water pressure in the shower. Take your own soap as they stock those tiny bars that don’t “suds” up.
I’d have liked for the room to have had a small table and chairs(s) for in room dining. 

As I had people to see and things to tend to in Irondale and Leeds, location is great for me. There’s a Walgreens in front of hotel and restaurants you can get into without getting on to main road. 

My second stay here. First was a couple of years ago. No complaints either time. 

Mid week stay.

Wow , nice clean comfortable room , very quiet . Decent breakfast , pancakes are on a different counter , room was clean , no carpet to absorb smell , shower was nice and hot , can park rv and semi truck there , wal mart across the street 

Memorial Day respite 

I’ve stayed around Birmingham a lot and this is the nicest hotel i’ve found. The staff was so friendly and helpful, everything was clean, the free breakfast area was huge and there where a ton of options including some protein. This is one of the best Wyndham properties i’ve stayed at.

Best hotel in the area

A great trip everything was easy could have been a little bit cheaper. The room was very clean the beds were very comfortable I enjoyed my state tremendously the only thing I can say is they could have had a iron in the room that was not attached to the ironing board.

Grandbaby visit

I have stayed (and reviewed) this hotel before - but on returning to Birmingham for a work trip this was my GO TO place to stay again - and it did not disappoint!!!!  Staff is wonderful and friendly and GUESS WHAT.... in these days where hotels don't want to offer ANY housekeeping services - they have Housekeeping Services EVERY DAY here!!  Clean and comfortable.  Felt safe and secure.  Parking lots very well lit.

DEFINITELY worth the REPEAT STAY

Not great, no staff and the covid excuse so lets do nothing would be ok if it reflected in the price.  The nearby places like waffle house etc seem to be open and serving breakfasts normally, so it's all a bit of a ruse to save money and do as little as possible 

Long walk across the US - Walk2Justice

Smooth experience! I did have a reservation and did not run into any issues. I regret not trying the breakfast. Wifi worked fine, and everyone seemed friendly. When I take the same route again I'll be back. 

Everything went great!

perhaps due to covid, no breakfast was provided. guests could not enter the lobby; check in and out was done by the night window between the entry doors and the clerk had to go back and forth to the registration desk, first with our credit card to find our reservation, then back to us with a form to fill out, and then back to get our keys. Room was sparsely furnished; appeared the expected desk, deskchair, upholstered chair had all been removed, perhaps too much trouble to sanitize. The room was average in terms of cleanliness, comfort of the bed, noise level and light level for sleeping, but nothing special. 

At best an average night on a road trip

The hotel is a bit dated, but clean.  They include breakfast, except for now with Covid restrictions, but of course that doesn't affect the room rate at all.

The lobby says it is open for people seeking rooms or checking in/out, but the door was locked and had to go through the night window.

The beds were good and there was a fridge in the room as well as a microwave.

They say they offer a veteran rate, but if I got that rate then it was very pricey.

The staff was friendly and though close to the Interstate it wasn't noisy.

Pricey for a Days Inn

I'm only on the first day of my stay here and man am I glad I picked this place!!!  Moved to this property from the Embassy Suites in Birmingham and WOW SO MUCH BETTER!!  Good value.  Clean room with wonderful service - I was surprised at Housekeeping knocking on my door to see if I needed anything because other hotels are definitely not doing that!  They are not using the 'cuz Covid' excuse and provide excellent service.  Sure, there's not breakfast but few of the other hotels are offering that these days anyway and for the price of this hotel and the clean, updated room .... don't waste your money on other supposedly upscale places - this one is a gem!!
