I had everything that I needed to make my two week stay pleasant.  I had a comfortable bed, flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, gas stove, sink, and everything that I needed to prepare a small meal.  We cleaned our own room, with the exception of the linen being changed once per week.  Although we could not communicate with the reception desk, the lady that we visited made sure that we had what we needed.  For the price, I thought we got a good deal.  A laundry was on the premises, and a convenience store was downstairs if we needed to purchase incidentals.  We were in walking distance of restaurants, a mall, and small shops.  We were very close to the bus stop and the train station.  We used a cab several times.  The stay at Chateau Blanc was pleasant and I would stay there again.

The condo was nice and comfortable and the price was excellent.

I stayed at this Chateau Blanc for the first time as it was the only place left in Yokosuka that had rooms. I feared the worst but other reviews were putting it in the 6.5 range so I felt a little better on that. Additionally, I e-mailed the hotel after booking through a third party web site and they responded that they were ready for me. They mentioned there are no towels of room cleaning service and I was expected to put a 10,000 Yen ($100.00) deposit down upon check-in. I realized this was a condominium with full kitchen including rice cooker, microwave oven and dishes. I felt much better, when I checked in the front desk clerk waived, the 10,000 Yen fee without me even asking. The office is only open from 0700 to 1900 hours, closed on Sunday & holidays so they give you a security code with the accommodation paperwork you get at check-in. I missed that little note and found myself trapped outside the first night without the code. Luckily I tried to press open the doors which are configured much like center divided elevator doors and they easily opened. I had brought a towel from the store and had my own personal items so life was good. The TV has stayed off mostly except for the Sumo Wrestling matches. The trash is picked up daily but you must set it outside your room door every morning prior to 0800 preferably separated and they make it easy by providing 3 different receptacles inside the quarters. No carpeting, the floors are wood with tile in the bathroom.
All in all I enjoyed the stay here at the Chateau and I have been totally undisturbed. Except for the occasional ambulance siren as the hospital is right next to the hotel property. I am OK with that. They secured their siren a city block away so they weren’t roaring their sirens passing under my balcony. The balcony has a sliding glass door and is comforting when open to catch a nice breeze. They weather is absolutely wonderful this time of year; May 01-18, 2013.
