Great Place to stay while visiting Malindi Town. They have spacious cottages that are self-contained with a fridge, TV, Gas Cooker and other amenities. It’s like a home away from home. They have a great pool which we enjoyed as well(If you planning on swmming past 10pm one must as the guard permission) They have a dedicated staff who make make sure you are comfortable as possible. I would like to thank Chef Benjamin who was kind enough to serve us delicious meals and made sure everyone got a good share during our stay. Same thing with the owner. God Bless you all. 

Home away from Home

the cottages have one bedroom, a fairly large kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator and even freezer, a living or dining room with TV, a bathroom and a nice terrace with table and sofa. The bedroom has air condition, all rooms have ceiling fans. There is hot water in the bathroom. 
The cottages are not brand new and so some things are not perfect: e.g. our toilet flush was very weak, so we just flushed with a small bucket of water. I didn't mind that, a small thing. I especially liked the sofas and loungers by the pool very much: with lots of cushions to linger comfortably and all with a palm roof (I must not be long in the sun and could find enough shade here. Thanks to Ruth for the room). 
In general, Ruth with her team is super: they are so helpful without being pushy, always available. 
Eden House Cottages are a great place for those who like to relax in peace and who like to explore Malindi and eat in different restaurants (and restaurants there are many good ones, many Italian and also many local ones with African food). The price-quality ratio is excellent.

I am a tour operator and I had a trip there last year November with clients .. their services  I can highly recommend... very clean swimming pool and excellent room service.. am doing a trip there with Instameet Safaris  again from 8-11 Oct 2021.. I caaaant wait 🥳🥳

I had the experience of being at home. The cottages are well maintained selfcontained houses. You have the house all to your self, with a very friendly "landlord" Ruth.

Nice Home Away From Home

I have stayed at Eden House twice in the last two years.   The cottages are pleasantly furnished, the pool is refreshing and the compound is safe and relaxing.  We hired a chef for the week were there and it was wonderful.  Whenever I go to Malindi, this will be my choice to stay.  The price is right, the host is wonderful, the compound is beautiful.

Beautiful, simple, pleasant

We always have a retreat at the end of every year and this time round our destination was Malindi. Been to Malindi several times but never tried the cottages. 
The place is awesome and fits the description given. Yes it is spacious, with free parking, bathrooms are ensure, together with a kitchen and a living room. 
Ruth received us and made sure that our stay was comfortable. Her staff are welcoming as well. 
For one who loves swimming, the pool is accessible from 8am-10pm. It is super clean and always warm. 
I shall visit again.....

A delightful place

Our one week at Eden house was FANTASTIC! Quiet and serene place, very close to the beach. Ruth, our host was the best! A kind and happy soul. The staff were kind and really helpful, especially Julius. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the water is always warm, even at night! The restaurants located in town 20mins from the premises offer finger licking delicacies that everyone has to try. The place is really safe as well and the beach is 2mins away which was a PLUS!

Vacation Heaven.

My husband and I have visited Eden Cottages 6 times this year, having business interests in Mombasa, we have been adding a weekend for R&R in Malindi. We stumbled across Eden Cottages and its a gem. The cottages are spotless, large and roomy, self contained, but all you need. Ruth the owner makes everyone welcome and being on site ensures she knows everything is to the standard she expects. Thoroughly recommended!!

Hidden gem

A real nice place to stay. Being not very large and a little out of town makes this a quiet spot but only a short tuk-tuk ride away from town.

Tuk-Tuks can be flagged down from the main road about 150m away - there is also a good beach walking distance the other side of the road, here you can find larger hotels with bars and restaurants.

The rooms we had were spacious, the bedrooms had A/C and a well equipped kitchen complete with fridge and cooker. Free Wi-Fi was available in the rooms s as well.

The owners Ruth and Roberto are very helpful. We are going back and staying there this year.
