We stayed for 3 nights at ocean village, Diani.
Very beautiful place, excellent rooms with all amenities!
Superb well looked after gardens. Seafacing loungers  in excellent condition.
Beautiful pool.
Miles of white sandy beach!
Cuisine- excellence beyond par.
Very good breakfast 
The staff in the restaurant and kitchen, very very good.

Excellent beach boutique hotel

We recently stayed a few nights at Ocean Village Club and even extended our stay by an extra night, and it was the best decision! The entire experience was flawless. Our room was spacious and the food was outstanding. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring we felt right at home throughout our stay.

The breathtaking views of the beach made our time here even more magical. Ocean Village Club truly provided the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment. We can’t wait to return!

A perfect stay at Ocean Village Club

Highly recommend! We stayed here for our honeymoon for 4 nights and it was incredible. It was exactly the luxury and understated elegance we were looking for. The architecture is quite similar to Greek islands with each room providing a beautiful walk up balcony, large room with 4 poster bed (with a mosquito net) and beautiful bathroom with double sinks and a big bath and separate shower. Breakfast is buffet style, with options for prosecco and oysters, it’s definitely indulgent. Dinner is a selection of 3 or 4 options for starter, main and dessert, all included as part of the half board option. Gentlemen must wear trousers for dinner, which we really liked as it shows a respectable place, but also definitely helps keep any mosquitos away! The food was also a higher standard and you can tell they put a lot of effort into the flavours as well as the presentation. Lunch for us was a la carte, offering freshly made pizza in the in house pizza oven, or local chapati wraps for roughly $10-15 each. 

Ocean Village Club was very reasonably priced for the quality you receive. Cold towels and local coffee on arrival, assistance to your room, no ask is ever too big. 
I would highly recommend Ocean Village Club and we both greatly enjoyed the personal touch that came with the turn down service each evening, towels with a foam mattress on the sunbeds set up for you, multiple security guards keeping you safe all day long, and a dedicated customer relations manager to assist you in anything you need. 10/10 and definitely 5*.

Luxury, serene honeymoon destination

I've just returned from a 3-night stay at Ocean Village Club where I met up with two friends for a long weekend. This is a hotel dedicated to extreme peace, quiet, and relaxation for adults - there's no loud music, no unruly groups, no screaming children, barely a sound louder than the waves crashing on the beach and the monkeys cavorting through the palm trees overhead.  It is a place to take a deep breath, sleep in, while away the hours on a sun lounger, read a good book, go for a calm dip, win a game of pétanque, engage in quality conversations with your companion(s), enjoy a tasty three-course dinner, and then do it all again the next day.

The facilities and location are exceptional. While right on the beach, the hotel's own sandy area is elevated and thus you are mostly shielded from the trinket and coconut vendors constantly seeking customers.  The large sun loungers are also some of the most comfortable I've ever been on with cushioned mats and pillows.   Spa treatments are available in a sun-dappled tent just nearby and enjoying a massage while hearing the waves and feeling the ocean breeze waft through was a special experience.  Landscaping and plant life throughout the property are artistically chosen and well maintained. Everything is clean and well cared for.

Rooms are extremely spacious, with huge comfortable beds, patios, generous bathrooms, and thoughtful amenities and touches such as a cold bottle of bubbly on arrival and turn-down service while at dinner. Food menus are creative and selection is excellent, breakfast buffet is generous.  Food allergies can be accommodated. The staff are universally friendly, welcoming, and professional. They even made a personalized birthday cake for me and sang six (!) songs around our table!  Airport transport to and from Mombasa can be arranged (at extra cost) and was timely and professional.

A quiet, relaxing slice of paradise on Diani Beach

I had an awesome stay at ocean village very lovely environment and access to the beach just what the doctor ordered!  The stuff here are so friendly and kindl! Service offered  is top notch always looking out  to make sure your stay and experience is confortable and nice! The breakfast was yummy too! mr Hamisi, Ali Ahmed and all the crew thank you,!you  rock! Keep up the good service! I will definitely come back without a doubt!! The

We were greeted like long-lost friends by the staff who remembered us from 6 years ago. Superb location in tropical gardens on Diani's fabulous beach, which is in great condition - white sands,  palm trees, clean and warm sea. OVC is big enough to be animated, but small enough to be intimate and so friendly. Great staff who take real pleasure in serving you, whether in the restaurants, at the bar or at the sunbeds.  The accommodation is very comfortable and spacious  with excellent air conditioning. Very good food, from both the copious breakfast and dinner buffets/bar-B-Q or from the à la carte menu.  We had a super time and did not want to leave.

Location, Location, Location!

We've been going to this place for years and it's consistently excellent. The grounds are lovely and intimate - lots of plants, trees and shade, but it's the staff that really make this place. Warm, attentive, friendly, and genuine, you feel looked after on a personal level. This hotel is for quieter parties - there are no children allowed under 18 which is a bit of a shame but the peace is their USP. There's a lovely pool, a breakfast bar overlooking the sea, and the beach is stunning and safe day and night. All inclusive buffet dinners are held on the lawn. They're good and there'll always be something you want. I only wish they'd provide more Swahili cuisine as a matter of course as it is excellent. There was one night of our 10 where it was the theme cuisine but I would happily eat it a lot more often. It would expose guests to the wonderful culture of the place too. 

The upstairs rooms are large, light, with AC, outdoor showers (a lovely touch) on balconies, and the mattresses and pillows were extremely comfortable. Room service is also available and staff will attend to your every need - including a tailor! I hope to return before long.

Beautiful intimate peaceful hotel with warm, attentive staff

Peaceful hotel with 5star service and a stunning setting. 

We stayed here for New Year and the whole experience was perfect! The rooms are spacious, clean and cool with a luxurious bathroom. The pool and restaurant/bar are right by the beach with the rooms set back in a private tropical garden. You do not feel you are in such a big hotel as each room is a separate unit with its own view and privacy. 

The staff are attentive, polite and all speak several languages. Hamisi is always on hand to organise anything you would like to do from Jetskiing to horse riding on the beach. The manager is also always on hand to discuss anything admin related. 

The whole experience was paradise and we will be back. 



A truly unique and luxurious hotel.

We have just completed a glorious week’s stay at Ocean Village Club in Diani Beach Kenya. I cannot fault it. From the rooms, which are spacious, well appointed and kept as clean as a whistle; to the staff, who is friendly and attentive and always has a Jambo and a smile for everyone. A special mention, in no particular order, to Ahmed and his team - Hamisi, Abdul, Sumaiya, Aisha, Richard, Mande, Robinson, Mohammed Ali - in fact, all the staff were amazing - I have left out some names which I don’t remember 😢 - an unforgettable trip. The beach is wonderful - the softest whitest sand and turquoise water so warm you could mistake it for bath water. Overall a wonderful experience- We will definitely be back. This place really is understated elegance by the Indian Ocean. 

Relaxing getaway in Diani Beach

This was our second trip as a family to the fabulous ocean village club hotel 
The last time in 2018. They have changed their policy and it’s now adults only which was great. It was so quiet and peaceful 
The best thing about the hotel is the amazing staff and service nothing was a problem and they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect
A big thanks to the sports coordinator Hamisi for organising tennis which we played nearly every day and giving my son an early morning tennis lesson. Also to Mohammed Ali in the restaurant for his service and humor. Three out of the 4 of us had birthdays while we were there and the restaurant staff all came to the table with a cake singing and dancing. 
The rooms were great and the food was amazing. The gardens were beautifully kept. We will be back again
