We were greeted like long-lost friends by the staff who remembered us from 6 years ago. Superb location in tropical gardens on Diani's fabulous beach, which is in great condition - white sands,  palm trees, clean and warm sea. OVC is big enough to be animated, but small enough to be intimate and so friendly. Great staff who take real pleasure in serving you, whether in the restaurants, at the bar or at the sunbeds.  The accommodation is very comfortable and spacious  with excellent air conditioning. Very good food, from both the copious breakfast and dinner buffets/bar-B-Q or from the à la carte menu.  We had a super time and did not want to leave.

Location, Location, Location!

We've been going to this place for years and it's consistently excellent. The grounds are lovely and intimate - lots of plants, trees and shade, but it's the staff that really make this place. Warm, attentive, friendly, and genuine, you feel looked after on a personal level. This hotel is for quieter parties - there are no children allowed under 18 which is a bit of a shame but the peace is their USP. There's a lovely pool, a breakfast bar overlooking the sea, and the beach is stunning and safe day and night. All inclusive buffet dinners are held on the lawn. They're good and there'll always be something you want. I only wish they'd provide more Swahili cuisine as a matter of course as it is excellent. There was one night of our 10 where it was the theme cuisine but I would happily eat it a lot more often. It would expose guests to the wonderful culture of the place too. 

The upstairs rooms are large, light, with AC, outdoor showers (a lovely touch) on balconies, and the mattresses and pillows were extremely comfortable. Room service is also available and staff will attend to your every need - including a tailor! I hope to return before long.

Beautiful intimate peaceful hotel with warm, attentive staff

Peaceful hotel with 5star service and a stunning setting. 

We stayed here for New Year and the whole experience was perfect! The rooms are spacious, clean and cool with a luxurious bathroom. The pool and restaurant/bar are right by the beach with the rooms set back in a private tropical garden. You do not feel you are in such a big hotel as each room is a separate unit with its own view and privacy. 

The staff are attentive, polite and all speak several languages. Hamisi is always on hand to organise anything you would like to do from Jetskiing to horse riding on the beach. The manager is also always on hand to discuss anything admin related. 

The whole experience was paradise and we will be back. 



A truly unique and luxurious hotel.

We have just completed a glorious week’s stay at Ocean Village Club in Diani Beach Kenya. I cannot fault it. From the rooms, which are spacious, well appointed and kept as clean as a whistle; to the staff, who is friendly and attentive and always has a Jambo and a smile for everyone. A special mention, in no particular order, to Ahmed and his team - Hamisi, Abdul, Sumaiya, Aisha, Richard, Mande, Robinson, Mohammed Ali - in fact, all the staff were amazing - I have left out some names which I don’t remember 😢 - an unforgettable trip. The beach is wonderful - the softest whitest sand and turquoise water so warm you could mistake it for bath water. Overall a wonderful experience- We will definitely be back. This place really is understated elegance by the Indian Ocean. 

Relaxing getaway in Diani Beach

This was our second trip as a family to the fabulous ocean village club hotel 
The last time in 2018. They have changed their policy and it’s now adults only which was great. It was so quiet and peaceful 
The best thing about the hotel is the amazing staff and service nothing was a problem and they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect
A big thanks to the sports coordinator Hamisi for organising tennis which we played nearly every day and giving my son an early morning tennis lesson. Also to Mohammed Ali in the restaurant for his service and humor. Three out of the 4 of us had birthdays while we were there and the restaurant staff all came to the table with a cake singing and dancing. 
The rooms were great and the food was amazing. The gardens were beautifully kept. We will be back again 

Best hotel and service ever

What a lovely place to stay! It was one of the best hotels we’ve ever been (and we have been at very expensive hotels) everything was just perfect. From the super fresh delicious cooked food to the friendly and warm-hearted staff - it was a really nice experience and we will definitely come back! The manager checked in every morning and evening and asked what he can organize and how the day was. The rooms are big and get cleaned twice a day, and the beach is just incredible and in 30 seconds walking distance from all rooms. A perfect stay for couples - they surprised us with a private lunch with fresh lobster and seafood. Thank you to everyone working here, especially Hamisi from guest relations and the manager!

Stuff very helpful, nice and polite specially front office (Ahmed). Good food (buffet), excellent breakfast. Very clean room and compound. We celebrated our 25 th anniversary on Valentine`s day and we had the best dinner (lobster) very good sparkling wine and a nice cake specially made for us. We will definitely  go back...

Exceptional place

My husband and I visited Ocean Village after leaving another resort on Diani Beach due to uncleanliness and terrible service…Ocean Village far surpassed our expectations. Every staff member will go above and beyond to make your stay perfect and feel welcomed. Huge shout out to Cloud, Irene, Hamsimi, and Dedan, all who truly made our stay so enjoyable, we have a special place in our heart for the wonderful staff and already miss them! 

The resort is quiet, stunning with well kept grounds and rooms are spacious with beautiful design and super clean. Food was some of the best we had during our 2 week stay in Kenya. We have no complaints and would highly recommend Ocean Village Club to anyone looking for an upscale stay in Diani!

Perfect stay

We stayed during New Years holiday, exceptionally well maintained place, staff was outstanding and very helpful with anything we have asked for. Rooms are very luxurious and tastefully decorated. Breakfast buffet and serviced dinner were amazing with a lot of variety! Very relaxing holiday and an amazing Indian ocean beach scenery. Special thanks to mr Ahmed for helping me on New Years day 😊 definitely to recommend and visit again! Asante!

Exceptional place for a holiday

The minute we arrived we felt like we were in heaven. The room is perfectly situated close to the pool and beach. This resort is very quiet and chilled. Perfect for a relaxing holiday to recharge the batteries. The staff are friendly and always willing to help to make your stay just that extra special. Want to thank Mr Ahmed (Manager) for going out of his way in accommoding us due to a very late flight to Mombassa. Special mention to Maingu (Barman), Mohammed Ali (Waiter) and Armani (Driver) they were absolute gems! Highly recommend this hotel.
