Been a guest for  more than 10yrs but this time I have encountered my worst experience. very rude staff at the reception, very bad customer service. No Water for guest at night...Worst Experience ever. Considering moving to other hotels with all my Friends.The staff have a sense of entitlement  to the extent of refusing to share managements contact number despite there worst service

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Stayed here for two nights during a business visit and couldn't sleep at night at all because of very loud music from disco halls next to hotel.. the rooms have bugs and lots of scratching at night. Two nights of torture..stay in another place if you can ...

Noisy place

Diamond Hotel in Tom Mboya Street is in the central business district and in quite a busy place... was there for a night as had to attend a meeting close by.. the hotel is basic and don't have very many options here...

Doesn't get worse than this. Bad food, noisy and very rude staff.

In the morning we went to the restaurant for breakfast and catching up. After few minutes (Maybe 45) one of the waiters rudely demanded that we pay for what we have take and leave the hotel. He also said that we were holding a meeting and we should pay more.

Basic, clean hotel very close to Central Business District. There aren't many hotels in the locality that offer rooms at such low rates. The wi-fi in public areas is reasonably fast, but it isn't so good in rooms. The downside is that there is very very loud music being played on Saturday nights (vehicle honks, loud speakers, vuvuzela, god knows what...). No exaggerations - YOU JUST CANNOT SLEEP!! Carry your ear plugs if you want to get some sleep. The bathrooms are very small. I asked for a slightly later check out (a 12 noon checkout instead of 10 am) and the hotel staff wouldn't accommodate the request!

Very close to city centre; too noisy neighborhood

The people who work at the Diamond Hotel are not the brightest. You ask for food and they constantly don't know if it's there, and mostly they don't even know what they are serving you when you ask them. Great vacation... The rooms were dusty, which is quite a disappointment compared with the outside of the building, making it look like a very expensive luxury hotel. Don't be fooled. Check before you book.

Check Before you Book

We bought our room so that we could have Internet. We checked the Internet multiple times and they kept telling us it was fixed. Finally we asked when in would be fixed the next afternoon and they said no one ever came to work on it. The breakfast kitchen was empty and they said they had to go out to bring us something finally an hour later we had something to eat. They moved us to their sister hotel topaz where the Internet is working but the staff is even worst. They were unhelpful in ever question that was asked. Breakfast was terrible and cold every morning. The elevator was broken for two days and I never once saw a manager. I asked to speak with the manager 10 times over 4 days and they never contacted him.... Pay the extra money and avoid a headache!!!!
