The decor of Mirema service apartments has improved over the years. The rooms are immaculately done as well as cleaned. The wifi has gained speed and is all the time available. A min-fridge is now in many rooms. I'm a regular return guest.
Staff are welcoming and friendly. Teresia, one of the 'Chefs', will prepare you a nice and delicious meal once you order. I seem to find her on duty wherever I visit. Very good at Chicken, Fish and Ugali. They provide room service at a minimal fee. They only miss my favorite Brown bread for breakfast.

Sleep quality is now enhanced by the quiet environment. Noise is less and clean air is more. The rooms are fairly charged and also paid by card or Mpesa.

Improved Mirema Hotel

I have stayed at Mirema several times when visiting north part of Nairobi. It is near TRMALL with a lot of shops and eating places and near the bypass to easy reach around. The hotel has nice rooms with a very friendly staff that is eager to make your stay pleasant. The best part is a good price that give good value for a stay here ! Good value 

This is a nice place away from home. The rooms are basic but with everything you could want and clean. There is free and fast WIFI when available. At times the wifi goes  unavailable. Its a quiet place except for the early morning "matatu" (local minibuses) hooting calling for passengers on the nearby Zimmerman estate along Kamiti road. There is also a nearby farm that rears pigs. At times a foul stench emanates from it and affects some rooms.  Ask the reception lady (Triza) and she will allocate you one that is completely shielded from the smell.
Rooms are fairly charged.  They have recently upgraded the mattresses and beddings. You will have a sweet sleep on a firm mattress. Water is instantly heated as you shower. TV sets need upgrading as well as replacing some broken wardrobe doors and mirrors. 
The apartment do offer breakfast or any other meal on request at a small fee. They have a duty cook 24/7. However you can bring in your own food and cook from their Kitchen and of course assisted by the cook.
This place is nice for its pricing and state of rooms.  I keep coming back to this place  when I choose a simple cost effective and quiet place to put up while on business.

Nice Place Away from Home

Stayed here for 2 weeks and could not fault the place. Very near to the main highway to the city and the place is very affordable, quiet and most importantly clean. Thanks Joyce for accommodating us and our requests. Sure to return soon.

Very peaceful and clean

I had a great time at mirema hotel. The service was amazing, the people working there are very friendly and accommodating to any need. The food served is also very delicious. It is traditional African cuisine. It was a pleasure to stay there and I highly recommend mirema hotel to families, business or solo trips!
