Got untrained and verry arrogant receptionist, management behaves as though they are not running an hosiptality business, the receptionist does not even have proper command of the english language and understands thing the opposite of what she is spoken to in english, clear indication the management has invested in unskilled cheap labour some thing not right for people who are the 1st contacts to customers

Unproffessional

Good if you are not staying for long. We have only been there for one night - cheap and cheerful. The area isn't for tourists and therefore the hotel hosts mainly locals. Restaurant facilities with bar available, can book room with breakfast (again local food). 

Cheap place aimed at the locals

The music was very loud I could hardly sleep!!! My room (412) was facing the the restaurant below that plays loud music 24/7 (and there's no one. why???). I told the reception but no improvement. There were also a few mosquitos in the room. (Hello Malaria!?)

Apart from that, the room is decent and the staff was friendly. You can only use the credit card with chip (and not the swiping version) for payment though, which was another problem for me.

The area has crazy traffic jams and quite crowded. I didn't feel like it would be safe to walk around.

Music nightmare

The hotel has very neat, modern looking rooms for the prices they go for. I checked in to their single room and was surprised it looked quite modern. Bed well laid, Fancy looking mosquito net to help with mosquitos though I didn't see any mosquitoes in my room. The bathroom looked neat and spacious. The deal sealer for me was the presence of a table and a chair. This was very important for me to work. Wifi was decent enough to keep me off mobile data. The hotel however gets quite noisy at night with the music from the bar. This wasn't much of a problem for me since that is something to expect from downtown Nairobi. That part of town is quite alive. The hotel has a very spacious bar and restaurant, good for hanging out when you get tired of the room.
